I weigh 275lbs and I’m pretty sure I ripped my peroneous tendon dancing at a wedding. This ankle brace has really helped me walk with less pain and poping from my tendon while I wait for my imaging to come back. It’s actually really easy to put on, but you have to loosen the laces up to get your foot as easily as possible if you wear converse high tops or vans you know to loosen up the laces. It’s kinda like that. It’s comfortable for all day wear, but I wouldn’t recommend sleeping with it on. You can easily fit it in any shoe and it will give you the confidence to step as you feel the support from the brace holding your ankle. I recommend this brace. I’m not sure on the longevity of this product but it seems to be holding up. I don’t expect it to last forever though, but hope it last at least 3-4 months of continuous use. 2 weeks down so far no loosening or stretching, but I am concerned about ripping the seams if I keep pulling on it to get it on, but like I said loosening the laces helps put it on and take it off.

My 10 year old rolled her ankle pretty badly and needed support when she was ready to return to dance and football. This brace provided very good support. The lace up feature makes it easy to get a good fit. We ordered size XS and it fits great on my child who wears a size 4 youth shoe. We like how this brace is not super bulky so it can fit in her cleats.

The product does seem to stabilize my messed up ankle, which reduces the pain. But it's a real pain to lace it and strap it on.

This is a very effective ankle brace. I’m replacing one just like it That I got from my podiatrist. I wore the previous brace every day for over a year, and it still functioned well, but had a bit of wear and tear.I’m often working on my feet for 8 hours per day, and could never do that without this brace. Little tricky to figure out the first time you use it, but after that, easy to put on. Highly recommend.

I rolled my ankle recently and got this brace to wear when I go to work to keep it stabilized. It looked fairly heavy duty from the pictures and reviews. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed.First of all, the brace is extremely difficult to put on. There is no elastic/stretchy part of the sleeve, so you have to kind of shimmy your foot in (even when laces are really loose). As you would imagine, if you have an injured ankle, having to move your ankle at all is painful (the very reason you are using a brace!). So putting this on was a pain (literally!) and taking it off was equally a nightmare.It didn’t fit well inside most of my shoes because the “tongue” with the laces was so bulky. I think the pictures are misleading because I bought this thinking I could wear it with my normal shoes.The fit itself wasn’t great. Even though I tried several different levels of tension on the side straps, they ended up either cutting off circulation to have the adequate amount of support or just being a bulky annoyance without enough support. The bottom heel part was loose even when the rest of it was tight, which made it seem to me like it wasn’t designed very well for its intended purpose.I tried using it for several days with different techniques but eventually gave up. Planning to return. :(

Years ago I was given a great figure-eight ankle brace by a Physical Therapist. It was great. It wore out.Three differet brands bought. Some Big-named. ALL too thick and bulky.BraceAbilty is the one thin enough to wear unnoticeable with dress shoes. Thin liner sock under. And the match dress sock over. It can be also worn inside of even 8" lace up boots too for 8-10 hours. And not smoking over heat your foot. Yet still have variable chosen stabilization and support.Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.

honestly ? this worked terribly. the idea is there, I can see how it's supposed to be supportive but first of all there is absolutely no stretch. and that might be okay if it stayed in place and still actually limited my ankles movement but it didn't. I don't know how to describe how horribly this worked for me, it was unusable, u can hardly walk in it, and it doesn't even provide any support whatsoever. and nothing was broken I might add. I bought this because I frequently twist and sprain my ankles and my last brace broke. please do not get this, it is a complete and entire waste of money.

Very pleased. I am a 7.5/8 woman shoe size and ordered the small. works fine, the cross velcros sometimes rub my leg when i use it for full support which i would expect being the small end of the shoe size fitting. Just didn't want to order the XS and it not be able to give the support. If you are a true 7.5 the XS will do you fine - do not order S
