OtterBox Defender Case for iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 Pro, Shockproof, Drop Proof, Ultra-Rugged, Protective Case, 4x Tested to Military Standard, Black, No Retail Packaging

After having several Defender Otter Boxes and being very impressed and confident the protection to my phone would be maximise, it saddens me to say I'm not so sure about this new Defender Otter Box.Compared to my iPhone XS defender box this new one for my iPhone 12pro is disappointingThe outer rubber is hard not feeling like it could protect if my phone was dropped, the up lift to the front which protect the screen isn't very big (much smaller than the old box).Otter box has always been great quality and protection in the past, and when my phones were removed they were pristine and in one piece, I'm not as confident in this box sadly what a shame.All in all I think the quality has fallen and although I am happy to pay a high price for good protection, I think the price for this case is to high. I think other cases could provide as much if not more protection for nearly half the money.It looks like I'm having to eat my words, after dropping my phone for the height of a first floor window onto a patioI thought it was game over but... it survived undamaged so it looks as if otterbox has lived up to its reputaion

Customers should know that the otter case makes the phone quite bulky but should also know that it is long lasting and provides the the phone with fantastic protection, this the second case I’ve bought and with working in construction it is very durable

Fantastic case. I was a bit dubious after seeing posts about it pushing up screen protectors however we have them fitted at apple using their machines and as you can see from the pictures it’s nowhere near the screen protector. It’s a great case so versatile my husband is very happy with his rugged case to help protect his new phone. It’s very sturdy design is easy to fit we followed a YouTube video as the no store packaging doesn’t include instructions but a video was easy to find. Love the no store packaging when buying from Amazon like this. Just a well designed great fitting case. Thank you otterbox!

On my third of these cases with a third phone as quite hard on them as in and around a stable yard and offers good protection. Only criticism is the flap covering the charging port has come off on all three hence the 4 stars and does work on a wireless charger BUT not consistently well.It’s a bit chunky but I like that as big hands and has protected the phones really well. It’s a utilitarian choice not a fashion accessory. Would I buy again yes and respect the flap is a difficult balance but soon starts to come off.

The children are with my phone dropping it. And sometimes it falls out of my pockets. The otter box saved my screen multiple times and underneath it is perfect. Looks like a new phone. Otter box also remains its quality. Looks like it’s never had so many hits. Highly recommend over those tin or flip screen covers. Would be nice if otterbox found a way so could have a pocket for debit card

This is the second one of these cases I've had in 3 years. The first took some battering at work . I work up mountains building cabins . I am forever dropping or banging my phone while its in my pocket . With this case on ,I feel confident that the phone is well protected . The beefier case also fits nicely in my large hands ,without a case I always think I'm going to drop it . I definitely recommend this case .

Bought this to keep documents safe only to find the instructions say papers must be turned at regular intervals. If it wasn’t for that would have awarded 5 stars as good sturdy box with lock.

So there are people on this saying that the cover brakes the screen protector that is true if the screen protector is not put on right!!!If you put it on right it will not cause a problem I know this because I messed up the first screen so when I put the cover on it put pressure on the screen so I took it off put on another took my time and non problem it’s a great case new phone. Now fell out of f my pocket first day and only for the cover It would have been goosed I wouldn’t get any other one ☝️
