Set of 2 - Chelsea Eames DSW (Wood Legs) Molded Plastic Dining Side Chairs (White)

Like other reviewers mentioned, the packaging was really well done. Every single bit of it was well thought out. They were easy to put together and are beautiful replicas. Whoever designed these had a true appreciation of the original. Having gone to design school, I have some pretty high standards when it comes to designer furniture, bags, clothes, etc. and never buy replicas or copies - until these, of course. I needed something modern right away and the reviews were great so I thought I'd give them a try.They shipped immediately and arrived according to the estimate. I bought 4 chairs and they are all perfectly identical. They have a subtle eggshell type texture that is pleasant to the touch and they are stable. None of them are wobbly and the molded seat is ergonomic feeling when you sit in it.My husband and I are picky about chairs and were a little concerned about not having had the chance to sit in them before buying them but they are very comfortable. I've sat in them for about an hour at a time and been comfortable the whole time.They are sturdy yet lightweight so they are easy to move around.The quality of these is a testament to what high end design can offer - even when it has been adapted to be more affordable. I've compared them with the ones on the Design Within Reach site but can only find two differences - the almost $600 ones are made of fiberglass and have black Philips head screws. If someone says something I will gladly tell them the story of these chairs and how I wish more companies made fine things affordable.I've had them just under a week now and like them more and more. I'm considering buying two more for other places in the house.Bottom line: you're getting great chairs for the money (way better than most of what's in stores).I'll also seek out other items by this company. They've clearly got great people working with them.

I ordered 4 of these chairs to place around my dining room table. I have similar rocking chairs in my child's bedroom (not from this company) that I absolutely love. These chairs came on time, well packaged and were extremely easy to put together. They look great. The base of the chairs seem sturdy enough; however, the seat itself is not sturdy. I am 120 lbs and the chair moves with my motions when I shift around. I'm not sure how long these chairs will hold up but after putting them together, I don't have any desire to take them apart again and return them.

I originally ordered two of these in white and was so pleased with the qualtiy and aesthetics that I ordered two more shortly after to complete the set. They each took about ten minutes to assemble and all the hardware, tool, and instructions are included. There was one part in the directions which I was not sure of (which way the bracket attaches to seat bottom) but I called customer service and had the answer in no time. I am beyond pleased. They are comfortable and look striking in person. Get compliments all the time. I also have the Eames style office chair and the steampunk metal chairs for my balcony, and everything from this company is top notch. Do not hesitate to get these!

These chairs are great. They arrived a few days after I purchased them. I was a little concerned that they would not be sturdy enough, but they are holding up great. We liked them so much we ordered the arm chairs as well. My husband didn't love the color of the legs with our table. We spray painted the legs a dark brown and they look fantastic. I know it may take away from the original look of the the chairs, but we love the look of the dark leg on the white. I will be ordering two more chairs to complete the table. We have two kids and the chairs are very durable and clean up nicely. I would recommend these chairs and the seller to anyone.

Love the chairs, love the service I received from LDF. One thing I would like to add is that 2 of the chairs out of the 4 I ordered DID actually show the molding spots where the legs meet the seat bottom. I believe the description claimed they were the higher quality (thicker plastic) chairs that didn't show through, however, on 2 of them you can clearly see the bumps in the molded plastic where the legs mount underneath.

Really pretty chairs that are easy to clean and very comfortable to lounge in - if you can keep your balance. For these serious pros and cons, it gets a solid 2 stars. But don’t lose your balance or else you’re on the floor. They tip fairly easily for someone who doesn’t have good balance or who isn’t paying attention to weight transfer, e.g., all children under 10, non-physically fit grandparents, young millennials. Every single person in those groups have fallen from these chairs!! I don’t know why it took me two years to write a review and finally replace them with sturdier ones..

I was cheap and decided to buy cheap chairs.. well, you get what you paid for.The chairs are very small and not like the original where it's wide. It's comfy but again, very small and pretty low too.Though the design is classic, these particular chairs are not impressive.Thinking about replacing them but they will do for now.Also, one of the chairs—it's leg came off and we had to screw it back.Assembly is quick.

UPDATE: After daily use these chairs are falling apart while we sit on them. My husband is 250 lbs, so I checked for the weight testing which is 300 pounds on their steel bases. The base isn't the problem. The housing that connects the base to the chair just pops out, even for me! Now, only the kids can use them after less than 12 months. Not a good use of money - FYI.
