DC 12V 40A Relay, 1CH Universal 433Mhz Remote Control Wireless Latching Function Switch for Industrial & Low Voltage Power Systems

I had a switch that malfunctioned on my houseboat for a freshwater pump for a washdown hose, I decided to install this remote relay instead of having to flip a switch on every time I could actually carry the remote, I am very impressed as far as the distance that the remote works . I’m very simple hook up. Nice effective way to switch something, amp rating is very high.. quality of remotes seem very good!! I will buy again

We have a Jeep Cherokee which has a recall for the power liftgate fire hazard (even when the car is not running) due to corrosion on the electrical contacts. Jeep, as yet, has no remedy for this problem and simply did a CYA by recommending owners not park the car in their garage or near any buildings. Very practical... Pulling the fuse avoids the problem, but then you can't use the rear liftgate and have to load and unload the trunk from the passenger compartment by folding the rear seats. I connected this receiver to the fuse box and set the mode to only supply power to the liftgate circuit while the remote button is being held, so you can't possibly leave the circuit powered unintentionally or for an extended period of time. Works great and my Wife loves it (at least compared to parking the car a block away).

This is by far the easiest way to hook a light bar or any external lighting to your vehicle. As you are not drilling into the cab. You're not looking for holes to run wires through you. Just plug and play and then use a remote This is actually my second one of these. I even had one hooking up an amp to a factory deck because I didn't have access to a remote turn on and the remote turn-on setup that I found did not work with what I needed to do and with having the battery in the back of the vehicle it made it 10 times easier to use a remote to control everything and keep everything contained to the trunk. No wiring going anywhere

Works as described. Relay click when you press the on or off buttons lets you know so you can hide it and still know it's working. But trying to find a 12 Guage connector that fits the small terminals was a pain. For starter kill switch, I connected the output to a separate relay that powered the starter. That way, the power to the starter isn't going directly through the remote switch. Works great. Press on, turn key, press off.

This remote setup worked exactly as described. Some people called out the temp limits, but my receiver is indoors so no issue. Use it to turn on 12vdc array of Edison base RV bulbs that provide security lighting around my house. Range is great ( have used at about 200 ft with one wall interference) and response time is quick. Hooked up just like instructions and no problems. Would recommend using with 12vdc photo cell for times I forget to turn off lights.

Almost sent back because I could not get it to work. Instructions mentioned "learn button" but drawing in instructions did not show one. Contacted supplier and they sent new instructions and drawing. Works great now. Instructions below. Clearing method: After applying 12 volts, hold down the learning button. Keep holding until the receiver Led indicator flashs for 5 times. It will flash once, then twice, then three times all the way to five. It is Clearing Code. Learning method : Apply 12 volts to the Receiver , Press and release the learning button. The receiver Led indicator will come ON and stay on. Now press remote button “ON” 1 time, Led indicator flash for 1 times , Then Press remote button “OFF” 1 time , Led indicator flash for 1 time again , it mean learning successful. Oh, for those that had a question on operating temp of 80? That is in degrees C. That's pretty darn hot!

I was looking for a remote to cut off my inverter when done. Perfect. Nice range, 2 remotes, easy to install. I would have loved for there to be a button on the unit to return on and off, but alas, otherwise just what I wanted.

Remote Control range is about 4 meters. Not even close to the advertised distance of 20 to 50 meters. I would not purchase if the remote range is important to your application.

Used this relay to remotely turn on a power inverter for a travel trailer when running on solar and battery. Inverter was installed in storage area of rv. Worked perfectly.

Works Great ! No issues at all. Using this device to control a back up beeper on my truck rather than have the beeping going off every time I reverse ( when wired up to back up lighting system ) I can now manually turn it on and off as required.

Bought this to remote-control on/off a light on a theatre stage - i have an LED light is in a counter (think display case, or jewelry case) where there was no way to run a wire from offstage. So I put a 12v battery under the counter, and used this relay to switch it on/off. The power draw of the light was trivial - maybe 1 amp. This relay worked right out of the box. The range was about 60 feet, fully reliable. They advertise 30 amps capability - there is no way I would switch that much power, especially continuous.
