Excellent, see our recommendations for use
We love these diapers for our newborn (about 8 pounds), they are much softer and more absorbent than disposables and overall we feel better about using them. Our baby also seems to like them better. Be careful to ensure that the umbilical cord had completely fallen off and has healed fully, as these will rub on the belly button when the hips are flexed, such as in a swing; we had a bit of blood in the area early on. A couple of notes, we would recommend a few shells to have some preassembled for diaper changes. Also, we would strongly recommend the standard no-prep liners over the organic liners; the organic liners require that you wash them 5x before use, they are also smaller and more prone to blow-outs which we have not experienced with the standard liners. Would also recommend a washable, lined bag to store liners in until you’re ready to wash.

Good
I’ve been using this for 6mo so far. Easy to clean and adjust. Usable with non-grovia cloth diapers too! Compared to snap shell, this one is little too warm when it is hot outside. But overall good purchase!

High Quality, but also high price
I’m reviewing the hybrid shell and super soaker liner combination (both from Grovia)These are probably the best quality diaper I have, they are also the priciest. I have had very few if any leaks in these. They are very easy to put on. I appreciate how the insert conveniently snaps in place. The hook and loop is very easy to open and close (just as easy as a disposable. They are a bit bulky (more so than a pocket diaper that requires one insert, but less so than a pocket diaper that doesn’t work well and requires double inserts). I sometimes used Thirstie’s inserts in these and that was a less bulky option that worked pretty well (though doesn’t snap in). Even though these are good quality they are definitely the priciest diaper I have. I also am not the biggest fan of their look/design. The company appears to have an emphasis on ethical practices. Also, for the wrap and cover system in general (not just this brand), the pros are that they can be a little easier on the go (packing mostly liners) and it’s just something different. The cons are that it can be a little challenging to actually use them for 3-4 diaper changes. I found a number of times when I would naturally want to fully change the diaper, like after a bath or times when we switch to a disposable (bedtime, etc.) (we cloth diaper about 70% of the time), as well as when they get dirty.
