This item is mis-marked. The item received was not as pictured and described! It was the USB-c type for iPhone with the volume and ff/rr butons etc.

Bit of a swiss army knife
I use these both as earphones for listening to music/watching movies and videos, AND as hearing protection when going places I know there will be loud noises (football/hockey games, holiday gatherings with loud dogs). I wasn’t immediately in love with the tonal balance, but after adjusting to it I actually feel like I can’t go back to more bassy audio gear, and I love how these present vocals.
