My First Interactive Mass Book

This is such a great bring-to-Mass book. My 6 year old has been taking it for the past few months. It helps him to know what part of the Mass is next, read the prayers we are saying, and stay somewhat engaged... which is challenging for those with ADHD. My 3 year old also likes opening the flaps and looking at the pictures. Would definitely recommend.

My child was ecstatic to receive this. He even thanked me for buying it for him. He follows along and picks out different details each mass. This has become a wonderful teaching aid for my family. I am easily able to teach my child about mass and why we do what we do. I will say this would be good for a child 4 and older.

My kids love taking this book to Mass every Sunday. They follow along with the mass and this is the only book we let them have.

Love this book! The interactive aspects will be great for keeping my 1.5yo’s attention during Mass and the actual information will be fantastic as he grows and can say more

I purchased this for my 6 year old son. He loves it, and would get very upset during mass if his 3 year old brother tried to look at it. After many conversations of taking turns and sharing, I decided to purchase another copy. It's very engaging and I love that they can follow along with the order of Mass. It helps them to observe the many elements of our faith around them, gain a sense of the order of Mass, and early readers follow along with the prayers/responses recited by the congregation.

We bought this for my daughter when she was 3. She was amused by the lift the flap, turn the wheel, etc. but she really didn’t understand most of it (she didn’t interact with Mass at that time, either). Now that she’s in kindergarten, she understands a lot more of what’s going on in church. She notices when the priest has a new color on, and will look it up in this book. She will also pick out items from this book and play “I Spy” during Mass to see how many things she can spot. It’s become a great resource! Although it’s a board book, and looks like it’s for very little kids, we’ve gotten more use out of it now that she’s a bit older. I’d recommend this to anyone hoping to get their kid more interested in Mass.

I bought 2 (one for my daughter and one for my niece.) One book- I'd give a 5 stars! The book as a whole is AMAZING. SUPER COOL and informative. I would say ideal age for this book would be 6+ due to significant text HOWEVER the interactive piece will keep younger kids engaged and parents can engage w/ their child during mass. Book Two- the wheel for the robes and stages of mass is just completely jammed! Super disappointing as I was very excited to give to my daughter. Additionally disappointing b/c I had to open the book that was intended to be a gift to make sure it was not also broken. Now I have to give an opened gift:/ Overall, I'm incredible excited for this book and hopeful that an exchange will be a smooth simple process.

My children love it. Once I gave them the book they immediately started to read it. I enjoy how it helps the young reader understand more why and how Mass is structured. Very impressed on the book and I am very glad I got it.
