Bought 2 refurbished 6920 phones to use as spares for our MiVoice Business/3300 ICP on-prem installation. One phone came with SIP firmware, instead of the MiNet firmware we needed. The other one was set up for MiVoice Connect, Mitel's cloud-based service. For the one with SIP, I found a discussion thread on the mitelforums website which provided the filenames for the MiNet firmware as they are served up by the TFTP service on our controller. Went to the web configuration page of the phone, and told it to install the firmware from the controller. For the other one, just had to do a factory reset. Other times I've purchased refurbs, I didn't have to do all that. Both sets were cosmetically in good shape. Shiny and clean, and properly packaged. One had a little bit of very minor, barely noticeable wear and chipping around the edge of the front panel, but the other one was mint. However, both smelled strongly of Pledge lemon furniture polish. It was a little overpowering at first. I guess they use something like that to shine them up. I suppose that will fade with time. One one of them there was a small problem with the handset cord. The factory original is supposed to have two or three inches of uncoiled cord so you can tuck it into the retainers on the back of the phone. This one, clearly a generic replacement, was coiled almost all the way to the plugs on both ends. Overall pleased with the purchase, with a couple minor issues. That's the first time I've manually flashed firmware, so that was a chance to learn something new.

Even though it was a good phone there are different uses. We use the cloud platform and I am being told this phone will not work with that platform. I sent a message to seller last week about the issue but they have not contacted me on whether they have the correct phone or if I should return them
