Growing Pains of the Guyanese People
Walter Rodney was an excellent hstorian who documented a period in Giyanese History that might otherwise might have been lost. .... He brought into sharp.focus the external and internal confluences that shaped that period of Guyanese History. He vividly recounts the struggles of its people during the Colonial Period. He records the positive contributions of so many of its citizens from various walks of life including that of my grandfather A.A.Thorne. This work is an outstanding legacy from a brilliant scholar of history- Walter Rodney.
