These cookies were stale n dried out. Also falling apart. Didn’t taste like gingerbread. So disappointed.

I think I was looking for a taste closer to German gingerbread. These are more sugary on the outside and the gingerbread has very little flavor a d is dried out

Disappointed with German gingerbread
I ordered a different brand of gingerbread thus year. I was disappointed with the freshness. It tasted old and not fresh.

German ones are better
They are less tasty and less moist than the authentic German Lebkuchen I bought at Aldi.This may suit others more. The icing was nice, but they were sent in a padded envelope, causing a few crumbled edges. Not bad with hot tea or coffee.
