Works great for Goodman split system
This fixed my Goodman split AC system. My house is nice and cool again. A plastic bit had broken off the last contactor and my system shut down. The capacitor was fine and although I replaced the fuses, it wasn't necessary. The contactor was the issue. The replacement was not easy but it works. YouTube videos helped.

Great quality delivered next day on the weekend
Had the contactor in my a/c go out on a Saturday evening. Was able to have this replacement delivered early afternoon on Sunday. This one item easily paid for my Amazon subscription in convenience and price.

Working fine so far. Perfect fit.
One star removed for some poor reviews. Meanwhile this (std 40A model) was a drop-in replacement for a name-brand contactor that I paid $30 for barely a year ago at an HVAC store, and which failed. So far working perfectly. I like that it has spade lugs AND screws for all mains connections.

Good AC contactor
So, I am not a certified AC repair technician, but over the years I have learned a few expensive AC repair things. If your AC stops making cold, there are basically two things that go wrong and I check first. Capacitor and contactor. In Texas the capacitors have a life span of 2-3 years, and the contactor is longer. I am learning and the last time I learned that a two-pole contactor can fail on one leg, and it appears to be working when it is not getting the full 240 volts to the unit. This is a solid replacement contactor. It matched all of the old contactor dimensions and capacities. For the price I suggest you keep one at the house as an emergency spare. This $11 investment would have saved me $448 the last time the AC tech was at my house. Basically, all you need is a screwdriver. Pull the AC unit electrical breaker so there is not any power, and I suggest that you loosen the old contactor and fit the new one in place before you remove any wires. That way you take a wire off the old contactor and put the wire on the new contactor without mixing up and wires to locations. As long as you respect the electricity this is an easy DIY project.

My replacement part now in hand on my shelf
This contactor (relay) is one of those parts in an AC system that seem to fail at the absolutely worst time. Just past failing start/run capacitors, this is the second highest failing part in an AC unit. Luckily, they are very easy to replace - and inexpensive. Wires can be moved - one at a time - and you will be back up and running. There are plenty of videos that will step you through replacement. That said - if you are not comfortable replacing this item - call an expert!! I keep two of these on the shelf. One for emergency replacement, and the other in case the first one is bad and/or it fails before I can get a replacement back on my shelf. Much cheaper than a $300 after hours emergency repair call!

heat strip contactor relay
This contactor has a coil rated at 240 volts ac. cannot be used where the coil control voltage is 24 volts. i used this contactor in a window ac that had heat strip energized through a contactor where coil voltage was 240 volts ac. the new contactor worked very well no problems.

I bought 4 of these to toggle my generators independently to my inverter charger. I wired them with a support relay on each so that only the first generator to start will connect to the inverter charger. Saves me swapping out plugs when I want to switch generators. 30 amp generators. Have been flawlessly swapping for 2 months now.
