This was purchased after some scumbag broke into my shed and stole some items, obviously smashing the previous lock in the process. It is sturdier than my previous one and was easy enough to fit. It also opens and closes smoothly unlike my last one that needed a bit of manoeuvring. Yes, it’s budget so don’t expect Fort Knox like security, but it’s decent enough at a bargain price.

I bought this as a simple hasp to fit on a cheap wooden chest. It was easy enough to install in that context. The chest is indoors, so no idea how it would stand up to the elements. It's not the most sturdy item in the world: I'm sure said chest could be forced open with a crowbar. But I don't need particularly high levels of security on my blanket chest, because, to my knowledge, nobody is out to steal my blankets. PS. Please do not steal my blankets.

Used it to help secure our beach hut a little more. Nice and strong, did the job well, but i drilled bigger holes in the clasp so as to use bolts instead or screws. Very happy with the strength of the clasp. Does the job well alongside other locks.

Not very large compared to the padlock I bought with it.but still strong could do with using bigger screws.

This is a nice quality little hasp for locking up your man cave at night! It’s probably not the sturdiest or most heavy duty on the market but it does the job well nevertheless! Recommended
