Ok...so I have a fat 14 lb Chihuahua who ENHALES his food and tries to eat my other dog's food. This slows him down considerably!! This bowl is a game changer!! He now eats at a healthy pace. Thank you!!!

I love this bowl! It has helped our pug not inhale her food so quickly and that in turn has helped her not fart nearly as much :DThe only thing I can think of that might hinder anything is that on a wood or slick floor the bowl moves around pretty easy while they are trying to eat....but maybe this ads to the experience...if I don't want it to move around I just put it on a rug or on our patio for her to eat from. I HIGHLY recommend this if you have a small dog that eats too fast!* I should mention that it's VERY helpful to put a small amount in at a time....make sure it's BELOW the little pegs so they have to work at it to get it...if you fill it full then they are missing the point of taking their time to eat it because they can get to it fast and easy....so go LOW when placing food in it...maybe 1/4 a cup and shake around to evenly distribute before placing it down for your pet. :D

The design it thoughtful, no stuck pieces of food.Cons: Didn't slow feeding down as much as other feeders. My dog is a dalmatian/corgi, 40 lbs. She is a little too big for this bowl.I would still recomnd this bowl!!

It worked so well for a few days until my dog figured out how to inhale all of his food using his tongue as a sticky scoop. I have an 18lb mixed dachsund/terrier who likes to inhale food without chewing. I purchased this bowl and it is very sturdy and a good size. Day 1, my dog was BAMBOOZLED by this bowl and it took him 5 or 6 minutes to eat what used to take 1 minute. It was amazing! It has now been a month and this bowl presents zero challenge, unfortunately. He figured out how to use his tongue as a sticky scoop and shovel all of his food straight in and straight down his throat again without chewing. Instead of 1 minute from a regular bowl, it takes him about a 1 and a half minutes now with the slow feeder.

There's nothing to scream about with this bowl but it does the trick to slow down our new pup.Pros:slows down the dogs eatingpriceCons:>not fully assembled (not sure why the feet aren't permanently installed.There is NO suction. I'm not sure if that is advertised but the review asked me about that and it's >definitely not a feature.>This bowl is hard to pick up. There is nothing to grab like our other dog's bowl which has arches on the sides. This causes you to get dog slobber all over your hands.>It's not easy to clean, the dog slobber has to be scrubbed off even when you rinse it immediately, it just sticks to the material.

OMG, this is the best feeding bowl ever. I just got an older dog. He eat way too fast, that half of the time he will vomit. But since I got this bowl, he never vomit and will never again eat too fast. His patience has gotten a lot better and I highly recommend for any dog owner who simply always eat too fast. This is the bowl to get.

I bought this bowl for our 25lb dog with a tendency of throwing up his food after eating too fast. This bowl has definitely slowed down his eating and he has not thrown up once since we started using it. I don’t think this bowl would be able to hold enough food for a larger dog.

Very easy to clean and holds up well but strongly disagree that it has suction power. It has rubber feet that you snap in place and they occasionally fall out.I sometimes use this bowl as a water dish to help my dog slow down when he drinks.It only holds about 1 cup of food and my dog eats 2 cups but it does ensure that your dog will eat all his food.
