Svelte Organic Protein Shake, Chocolate, 11 Ounce (Pack of 8)

I am very pleased with the taste, smoothness, and the fullness I felt after drinking my first Svelte Organic Protein Shake.As I have gotten older I developed hypoglycemia, and can no longer skimp past having something to eat in the mornings.I love to sleep till the very last minute, but usually that gets me in trouble in that there is just no time to grab a bite to eat before heading out to work.I was looking for something that is nutritious and filling and a quick grab in the mornings to basically tie me over until I can eat a meal. I am very happy that I came across these protein shakes. Exactly what I was looking for and no artificial sweeteners either. That's a big plus for me! Gives me the energy I need until my first break at work! Perfect little grab & go boost in the mornings. Price is not bad either considering you get 8 individual 11 oz. shakes per box. That's approximately 1.75 cents per shake. Taste really great too! So far I've only tried the Chocolate and the the Chocolate shakes are absolutely delicious! I did a price compare and most other shops only give you four protein shakes for nearly the same price. Certain flavors such as the banana seem to be over priced at the moment. I'm not sure why that is. I would love to try the banana too once the price is better. I highly recommend giving the Svelte Organic Protein Shakes a try.Update!I did finally find a decent price on the banana svelte shakes! All I can say is Yummy! If you love bananas you’ll love their banana shakes!! Bonus is the extra potassium from the banana purée!. I highly recommend Svelte protein shakes!I’ve now tried chocolate, banana & vanilla! All taste great!!

I have been searching for MONTHS for a protein drink WITHOUT carrageenan, without a bunch of sugar, additivez, or preservatives, and WITH fiber and healthy protein AND does not make me gag, pass gas all day or give me diarrhea--and I think I found it!!!!.After searching the internet, I found this amazing drink and ordered a case of banana, cappucino, chai and chocolate. I LOVE the chocolate and banana (they taste great mixed together) and the cappucino is good but the chai was a miss! I admit i tried the chai at room temperature, so I will give it another shot after refrigerating it or maybe i can drink it on ice (i will update my post if i feel differently), otherwise, this is a WONDERFUL protein and drink. I drank 1 for breakfast and another for lunch and at dinner time i didnt feel like punching anyone (lol). My hope is that it will help me lose this extra 50 pounds. I especially adore the motivational and encouraging messages on the bottle, "hello beautiful". Thank you Svelte!

I don't know why, but I just don't like energy bars, and I have tried them all. Yet, I need the convenience of high protein, energy giving, shelf stable nutrition on the go that I can keep in my car, purse, or backpack for those times when I need gluten free vegan nutrition and there is nothing around. This nutritional shake is packed full of nutrition, and tastes great! It fills in when I need a quick meal on the go between work and school. It is safe for celiacs (I am very sensitive to gluten and have never reacted to these) and for vegans and dairy-free folks too! The high protein will get you going and keep you going for hours. I never get tired of the chocolate one! You can chill them and drink cold as well, but they are awesome at room temp!

I've been buying Svelte protein shakes for several years now, and love the chocolate ones. It tastes just like chocolate milk, but is dairy-free. I take regular protein shakes as well, but these are a great little supplement to when I don't feel like getting the blender going. The nutritional profile makes you feel good - only 6g of sugar per serving, but you get 5g fiber, 11g protein, no trans fat, no cholesterol.I have it with Biscotti, sometimes mix it with yogurt, mix it with my cereal, or have it straight... I understand this does not sound good, but it tastes good to me!

It tastes good if I drink it really fast... The slower I drink it, the nastier it tastes. It's a great source of protein though.

I bought Orgain for a very long time before switching to this product. Milk products have always made my nose mucousy. Because having an organic protein drink was important to me, I just lived with that problem. But I began to notice that, if I drank two Orgains a day, I always got a stomach ache. So, I tried Svelte to see if the same thing happened. It didn't. I finally realized it had to be due to the carrageenan in Orgain. Svelte is just a healthier product (no milk/whey and no carrageenan). I have tried all the flavors and the chocolate is the best. The vanilla, banana and cappuccino are okay. The chai flavor is not good (and I love chai). I just wish that they eventually make a similar tasting flavor to Orgain's Iced Mocha or/and a better chai flavor.

This is great tasting for a protein drink and in my opinion, reasonably satisfying. Personally, I prefer Orgain 25g Organic Nutritional Shake because it has more protein and is also lower calorie overall, as well as lower fat, saturated fat & sugar, and higher calcium. (25g protein in Orgain vs. 11g in Svelte, 150 calories in Orgain vs 180 in Svelte)That said, unless you are lifting heavy weights to build muscle or living vegan, you'll probably end up with enough protein in the day without trying very hard if you live the typical American diet. Svelte also has more fiber than any other protein drink I've tried, which is kind of cool and perhaps why despite the lower protein it does make you feel full. This is one element I think the other protein drinks could learn a little from Svelte.If you are however living vegan, the other isn't an option for you and Svelte has the added benefit of lots of B12, which can be tricky to get in a Vegan diet. Although I'm not vegan, I do have trouble with B12 deficiency and so in addition to supplementing, I keep products like this one in reasonably regular rotation in my diet.As an issue of personal preference, I prefer Svelte to Organic Muscle Milk for flavor, and it's got less sugar compared to MM, but most days I'm going to stick w/ Orgain 25g.

This shake tastes surprisingly good for a meal replacement shake. Somewhere between chocolate milk and a milkshake. None of that sickeningly sweet taste. Overally quite happy with product. Nice seller as well.
