2018 Apple iPad Pro (11-inch, Wi-Fi, 64GB) Space Grey (Renewed)

Really pleased and pleasantly surprised by the quality of my renewed iPad Pro 11”. The hardware looks incredible and just as described. Whatever needed repairing/renewing is unnoticeable in its appearance and software. There is a very small scuff/worn out marking on the bottom edge of the device but for the price, I cannot complain- it still runs like new and the mark is hardly visible. As mentioned, it comes in a generic brown packaging with a non-Apple USB charger and without the usual Apple stickers or handbook. Charger works just fine and the battery life runs quite long- I’ve been working since 9am and it is now 5:30pm, the battery is at 63%. Sound works brilliantly- very good performance for entertainment apps like Netflix and YouTube. I can’t comment much about the camera, the quality isn’t amazing but it works. For what I need, the camera quality is not important to me. As usual, prompt delivery by Amazon. Overall, I am glad I trusted Amazon Renewed on this particular purchase!

As stated in other reviews, the iPad comes in a generic brown box but wrapped in plastic. There is a third party charger with 3A output. Mine came in excellent cosmetic condition. I was considering getting a brand new lower end iPad model but somehow came across this deal and decided to go for it. Couldn't be happier! The battery life is still to be seen but the first hour of use shows pretty normal drain. This is the nicest second hand Apple product I have bought.

The iPad Pro I bought for £444 was immaculate and has worked well for 9 months and after a failed update the iPad no longer will even do a system restore via Apple Configurator / iTunes. A DFU restore fails which from experience I know to be an internal chip that has failed inside the iPad and now it is worthless as it will not load the iOS. I’ve explained this in detail with photos but they are now trying to fob me off saying it’s the battery (which isn’t covered) without even wanting to look at it. I’ve worked with iPads as technical support for 10years so know exactly what I’m talking about. This speaks volumes about their integrity and after sales support. Don’t get caught out - avoid buying from them is my advice.

This is the third Amazon renewed item I’ve bought. It arrived in excellent condition with not a mark on the screen. The aluminium enclosure was virtually mint with only one tiny blemish on an edge. Battery life is definitely very good if not quite incredible. On an iPad there isn’t a battery health option in the settings and it’s necessary to plug it into a laptop and install a program to check it which I don’t have. I’d guess it’s still around 90% though. The iPad set up with no problems and operates flawlessly. Although not crazy cheap these ‘renewed’ items represent excellent value for money considering they are warranted and can be readily returned if you’re not happy. All of them I’ve bought have been in immaculate or near immaculate condition. If you want a top of the range Apple product and are prepared to get one that is nearly but not quite the latest version these represent a significant saving of around 50% on the ‘latest & greatest’. Definitely a less high risk than buying from eBay or other online market places. So it’s all good here.

I first ordered the 64GB Silver WiFi version of this at £560. It came with a scratch on the screen, no Apple warranty and the battery life was on 96%. I returned it and thought since the 64GB Cellular is now £550 I'll give it another go, failing this i would get the same tablet at Apple's refurb store at £650. BUT THEN..... This iPad came in perfect condition, not a single scratch on it at all literally spotless. Shined a light on the screen and not a single mark anywhere at all. I checked the battery it had 0 charges and 100% battery?!! So as you can imagine way better than the first one at this point. So I thought I would check the warranty status to see how old it was on the Apple website....BUT THEN I realised they must have sent these off to Apple to be refurbished. On the Apple website it says I have 90 days to add AppleCare! It also says i have their 12 month limited warranty which you only get on new purchases or refurbs from Apple. This all means if I have any issues with the iPad I can take it directly to any Apple store in the UK! Incredible value, they should definitely put in the description that it was refurbished by Apple it would get more sales. Oh and because its "new" again, alongside the 12 month apple warranty you get a whole year free AppleTV+ If you order from here and get a tablet with scratches and no apple warranty, I recommend sending it back and re-ordering. I know alot of people who have got one from here and got a perfect one like me equally I know others less lucky. I'm very glad I decided to go with this.

I bought this renewed iPad after mulling over the purchase for a few weeks, I eventually decided to just give it a go and return if it wasn't up to standards. When the iPad arrived, I was shocked. It looks brand new. There are absolutely NO cosmetic faults whatsoever, even when inspecting the product up close. No scratches on the screen, corners, or sides. I was shocked but pleasantly surprised. The only downside; I was sent an incorrect charging cable so I had to spend extra and buy my own. This is the aspect that made me nervous as I couldn't tell if the tablet worked at all as the battery was dead when it was delivered, so I had to wait a few days to find out. After using the iPad daily for over three months now for my business and art, I have had no technical issues and no problems with the battery life. I do not regret this purchase whatsoever. The risk of buying renewed online instead of new was totally worth it.

This was an Amazon renewed item. It clearly states that it will be like new (ie no scuffs, scratches, dents, etc). This turned up with the charging port looking like someone had been smashing it with the charger every time they plugged it in, the metal was actually worn down and the inside of the port looks worn too. When left on charge all night on night one it was only charged 86% by the morning. On night two it was only charged 73%. This iPad cost nearly £500, yet when originally messaging the seller they offered a partial refund of £20. Clearly there’s an issue with the charging port which we all know will end up costing around £100 to get fixed. There could also be an issue with the battery but I wouldn’t know until the port was fixed. The 2018 iPad Pro 11” is awesome and is probably on par with the 2021 iPad Pro 11”, but after trying Amazon renewed for the first time I will be paying the extra £500 to get a brand new iPad as it’s just not worth the hassle of buying secondhand with this type of equipment. Very disappointed

Amazing! Had doubts because it was renewed but it genuinely looks brand new. For the price it’s fantastic.
