Fun puzzle to put together. Great fitting pieces.

Quality pieces. It is challenging without being so difficult it’s not fun. The pictures allow kids to make ‘matches’ (putting the flag or words together) but is enough of a challenge for adults. Pieces are cut uniformly - no ‘creative cuts’ so if you’re looking for those, the Wysocki puzzles generally don’t have those kinds. Great family or individual fun.

I have had and passed along quite a few of Charles Wysocki's puzzles because I like both the fine art, especially boats, and also his folk art. Now and then something quirky shows, which I assume was the artist having fun. Although many of his folk pictures look similar, they are not all alike in assembling the puzzle. I like that. Enjoy!

As of yet, I have not worked this puzzle, but I have over 50 Charles Wysocki puzzles by Buffalo. These are my favorite puzzles to work. The colors are beautiful, pieces are sturdy, and aren’t difficult to put together; I only like 1000 piece puzzles.

If you like the Charles Wysocki Americana series 1000 piece puzzles this one is not really typical. We have made about 90 different Wysocki puzzles and found this one less interesting as an image since not that much was taking place by people in the scene. The large sails, much of the very large sky, and parts of the lighthouse building are very close in color making assembly of this puzzle more than usual in difficulty. Challenges are part of the fun of adult puzzles but interest needs to be sustained by details of the imagery that provoke the imagination. Still glad we own it but not one of our favorites. Manufacturing by Buffalo Games remains of very good quality.

Have been avoiding this one because I thought it would be crazy hard...with all the various shades of white, but was fun and enjoyable to do. Loved it. I have nearly all of the 1000 pieces puzzles of recent release. This adds to my collection.
