I've been using this Alaffia Black Soap since I lived in Korea. After moving to the US I bought it from amazon and am fully enjoying this product til now! My skin got much better. I would definitely like to buy this soap again :)

Great cleanser! It's super versatile but I mostly use it on my face with an exfoliating brush. It leaves my skin feeling light and clean but the shea butter keeps it from being too drying. The lavender ylang ylang scent is wonderful but not too overpowering, and hasn't irritated by skin despite using it on my face daily. I heard black soap is great for acne prone skin, and this liquid soap has definitely helped me control my hormonal breakouts like I had hoped. The pump hasn't broken or clogged, and the packaging was perfect.

I only received the smaller 16 ounce bottle. The photo definitely showed 32 ounce bottle without the hand pump. I it is not eligible for return. So this is way over priced!

This wash leaves my face feeling clean and moisturized. The scent isn’t overpowering and it doesn’t dry my skin. or, make my face feels like it stripped all of the moisture out. I use it as my daily face wash along with my Clarisonic.

Best soap ever.

Fantastic fantastic fantastic, oh, did I mention it’s fantastic. I finally found a face wash that is even better then the Alaffia coconut face wash which was the best there is! It’s so nice to find an organic, well intentioned, good deed doing, environmentally sensitive product that actually works!! Love it!

I'm not sure if I wasn't using this product the right way or something, but I used it as a facial cleanser and the first time I used it I was fine it worked perfectly, but the second time, it dried my skin out quite a bit and made it feel like it was stinging and tight feeling. I liked the smell of it and the price point for this is AWESOME but for some reason I had a bad experience with it. I tried using it as a body wash, same thing, it left a lot of dry itchy spots on my body and I tried using it as a shampoo as well and it left my hair so dried it felt so uncomfortable. I really wanted to love this but I just couldn't.

It’s ok but I don’t think it’s the real thing made in a factory.
