Q: Can it eventually be taken down? or is it sticky enough not to be removed?

I haven't attempted to take the whole thing down, but I have been able to reposition a piece here and there. It does not seem to be difficult to remove.

Q: could this be trimmed to fit a smaller space and still look just as good?

It comes in sheets so if you lined them up on the floor I'm sure it would be very easy to trim. I'm sure even trimmed and in a smaller area, it would look just as good.

Q: What is the default color ??

Black is the default color always in any and everything.

Q: Would it work well if I started it and went around a outside corner?

Yes, I think it would be really cool like that, just keep in mind the sheer size of the decal makes it unwieldy but I found unrolling a foot or so of the backing while keeping it tacked in place with the fronting paper worked well-remember to roll the backing up, tack it too if necessary n take your time. Overall it may have taken a hour including smoothing n bubble patrol:) I'm very satisfied with it and I get so many compliments on it-good luck, it will look great!
