Great presentation box. Love it.

Classic AC DC ! This album I feel is more of their original sound than the previous two. Anyway that's what I think . The lights and the music on the deluxe edition is great to see and hear. But the box quality isn't great . The paper box is glossy and flimsy. The moving parts of the paper box get damaged easily. If you compare this box( just the box) to the Pink Floyd Pulse limited edition CD box , the Floyd box had much better quality . It never got damaged easily with use . I still have mine . So music is great . Deluxe edition is only for the hard core fans.

AC/DC's first release in six years could have been awful. I mean, they only recently got back together; and co-songwriter/rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young is gone. They were almost set up to fail. But they came back, powered up, to bring us one of their albums ever. Pretty much every track on POWER UP is nothing short of brilliant. Some modern exploration into other sounds, but all throughout is that unmistakable AC/DC sound. Hard rock and blues. And boy, does it sound incredible. 'Realize' and 'Shot in the Dark' are sensible choices of singles, with each promosing lascivious lyrics and air-pumping choruses. The riffs are great, and liberal in POWER UP. 'Rejection' is a song Bon Scott would have been jealous of, but oh-so-infectious. 'Through the Mists of Time' is just awesome. A bit on the softer side, a bit melancholy. A bit haunting. It's clearly for Malc, and it rocks with the best of them. I still get goosebumps listening to it with every spin. 'Kick You When You're Down' is pure '90s AC/DC, with an aptly-kicking riff that proves one POWER UP's highlights. 'Witch's Spell' is basically 'Big Jack' and Ballbreaker's 'Burnin' Alive' combined, and it sounds excellent. 'Demon Fire' has similar shades of The Razor's Edge and what was to come. There are a couple of weaker tracks, personally, in 'Systems Down' and 'Code Red', but they're by no means weak. 'Money Shot' is a dose of pure AC/DC, and 'No Man's Land' is a worthy rocker. Overall, scarcely a bad track on this hearty offering of hard rock. It's what 2020 needs. The boys are back and bigger than ever. The physical vinyl copy is also beautiful. A luxurious gatefold, it holds a glossy inner sleeve and - in this exclusive Amazon edition - devillish red vinyl. It sounds so rich and uncompromising: relentless rock 'n roll. Highly recommend.

A great sound at a great price

I was going to leae this 4 starts, because I was not ovelry impresssed wit the box, it was fllimsy and the premium price didnt warrant it, however I've listened to the album now, maybe 5-6 times and it's awesome. Brian still has his rasp and screech and the riffs are sensational. What a great comeback album, dedicate to the late Mal, it's just awesome. Through the Mists of Time, what a superb RnR song - superb!!! Great album, welcome back boys.

Really love the album and a red vinyl version exclusive to Amazon was fantastic as I thought the Official AC/DC site missed a trick only offering a yellow vinyl version. However, what would have made it even better would have been an auto rip of the mp3s which Amazon give you if you by the black vinyl version! Same album, same songs but if you buy the Amazon exclusive they don't give you the mp3s.

AC/DC are back delivering an album of 12 no frills songs. From the opener Realize the LP steadily gets better, with a middle section to die for. Through The Mists of Time, Witches Spell and Demon Fire are classic DC. This album might include A Shot in the Dark, but for me this is a Shot in the Arm and just what is needed in these difficult times. Quality rock n roll that can make you smile again.

L'album : En tant que fan, il m'était impossible de résister à précommander ce nouvel album, et je n'ai pas été déçu ! AC/DC nous a sorti là un de ces merveilleux albums ou rien n'est à jeter. Les riffs sont simples, efficaces. Personnellement je sens dans ces nouveaux morceaux l'inspiration des gros succès du groupe comme Back In Black, aussi la voix est sans doute retravaillée pour paraitre aussi en forme mais il n'empêche que Johnson est toujours là et il en veut ! Sans blague, cet album est génial, si vous avez pris la peine de le chercher vous avez tous les prérequis pour l'apprécier. L'édition collector : On va pas se mentir, c'est le prix de la passion. La boite joue seulement le début de la chanson, le son du haut parleur est assez mauvais et si la boite n'est pas branchée en USB le AC/DC lumineux s'éteint tout seul au bout de quelques secondes. Honnêtement pour le prix je m'attendais à quelque chose de plus soigné. Que voulez-vous, je suis naïf !

Gut verarbeitet!

Me llego la portada danada, al parecer un golpe de manejo antes del empaque de envio. La caja de empaque llego sin la proteccion de burbuja como normalmente llega de Amazon. Cabe mencionar que es la primera vez que me llega asi un producto de Amazon. La verdad me dio flojera devolverlo ya que el disco se ve muy bien, pero para la proxima si lo voy a devolver el producto.

Al primo ascolto non si rimane certo delusi: sono loro! Nel complesso, personalmente, trovo che l'album sia sul livello del precedente, forse anche un po' di più, pertanto l'ho apprezzato. La copertina invece non la trovo il massimo come grafica, però con la versione del vinile rossa traslucida forma un abbinamento veramente bello. Si vede che è un prodotto curato nei dettagli: la copertina, apribile, ha il cartoncino stampato anche dalla parte interna (che nessuno potrà mai vedere completamente a meno che non decida di "tagliarla"... ma meglio di no) dove trova posto la busta del vinile (stampata anche questa). Il disco che mi è arrivato è silenzioso e la qualità dell'ascolto appare molto buona: una volta ogni tanto fa piacere non riscontrare quei difetti di stampa purtroppo così frequenti. Certo il prezzo fin da subito non è stato proprio dei più economici per un LP singolo ma devo dire che a mio avviso questa versione in vinile rosso traslucido, rispetto alle altre in alternativa (rosso opaco, giallo traslucido e ovviamente nera) è quella che si "attacca" meglio alla grafica dell'album.
