I've been using Plax Rinse for a few months now, and it has become a staple in my oral hygiene routine. The rinse leaves my mouth feeling exceptionally clean and fresh, noticeably reducing plaque buildup between dental visits. I appreciate that it doesn’t have the harsh, burning sensation that some other mouthwashes do, making it a more pleasant experience. My dentist noticed an improvement in my gum health during my last check-up, which I attribute to using Plax regularly. OK, I wanted to wait a bit before writing my review as there are some reviews that claim some pretty terrific results with Plax. Both my hubby and I using this every day. We brush our teeth with regular toothpaste, then we take a small amount of Plax and swish around our mouth, then we brush again with the Plax still in our mouth. I have to say that even after the first time we tried this, we both realized that our teeth even felt MUCH cleaner and SMOOTH. I had tartar buildup and by using Plax regularly and using a dental type pick, I was able to remove the plaque over a period of about a month. This may sound like a long time, but that plaque had been there for a long time (I didn't know it was there until my dentist pointed it out). Anyway, because we don't have dental insurance now, this did a great job of making my teeth cleaner and getting rid of tartar and removing plaque. This is a great product that we will continue to use. The only downside is that it is kind of expensive so we try to use sparingly - but to be honest that is all you need, a small bit of the Plax each time.

If I wasn’t so ashamed & embarrassed of how poor I have taken care of my teeth, I would show a pic as proof but I’m not that bold. But u can try for yourselves & be blown away too.So I have a metal bar behind my lower-front teeth to keep them from shifting (I use to have braces). So a lot of plaque/tartar always gets attracted to it & stays. I had YEARS of build up on my teeth. Like I mean 14 years worth of hard disgusting tartar that would not come off. I tried scraping it off before & nothing. It was like bone hard & had fused with my teeth. I honestly gave up because I didn’t have dental insurance & am too broke. So I seen this & thought, there is absolutely no way a mouth wash would remove it. No way! But oh, IT F’ing DOES!!! Remember this is used BEFORE you brush your teeth. This is what you do if you have bad tartar build up like I did... Buy this & vigorously swish in your mouth for 30 secs to a min (the longer the better) especially in the area where tartar is worse. Spit out, do NOT rinse or brush yet... get a dental kit with one of those metal picks u might see at a dental office & you then can scrape/chip off that tartar build up like nothing!! It becomes so soft & with a little patience & persistence you can get it all off. Afterwards, when you chipped it off, brush teeth & rinse with water. As soon as you use plax, it’s almost like it disintegrates it! I was in SHOCK!! I got 14 years of hard tartar off my first day using this stuff! I wish I knew sooner because my gums are so bad where the plaque was. But at least I don’t have that stuff in my mouth anymore. My mouth feels so much better & cleaner.

I use Plax daily and my teeth are always cleaner!Purchase this in any store where you’ll pay half the price.

This stuff is magic! I have a permanent retainer behind my bottom teeth, and it causes tartar to build up along my gum line there. I've tried everything to get rid of it, but it always required the dentist using the little buffer to basically grind it off. Finally, I saw a YouTube video about Plax, so I decided it was worth trying for the price. I bought Plax and a little set of dental tools. I used the Plax before brushing, and then I used my toothbrush while the Plax was still sitting in my mouth. After a couple uses, the tartar was soft enough to scrape off with the dental tool. After a couple weeks of use, the remaining tartar was gone. Now, I use it once a week to keep it away. It has a great taste, so it's pleasant to use. My son loves using it, and he's one who is very picky about the flavors of his toothpaste/mouthwash. It really makes a difference.

This mouthwash made my breath/mouth feel really fresh prior to even brushing. The taste was comparable to any other mouthwash, nothing spectacular. I used the wash consistantly and in its entirety and found that it didn't do much in regards to removing plaque. All in all, my teeth are healthy and relatively clean, but there's some plaque at the base of the gums that I was hoping this product would loosen up. Unfortunately, the product wasn't effective in that aspect. Although, If you're looking for a nice mouthwash, I suppose this would be a viable option.
