LOVE these windows. Bought two and installed them ourselves in a cargo trailer to camper conversion we are doing.The good is they are really easy to install (for the most part) and they look great.What could be better is they should come with a paper cut out template. You can't just trace around the edge of the window due to the positioning of the insert rim. Took us 4 hours to install the 1st one because creating the template was a little difficult. The 2nd one only took an hour because we used the cut out from the 1st one for a template.Additionally, the package only comes with exactly the number of screws needed to fasten the window to the inside trim. Several screws stripped right away... need to put an extra 4-8 screws per package.Here are the tools we used to install these windows: Drill with Phillips bit. Tape measure. Level. Grinder with three (it took three cutting wheels to cut out the two windows and the areas of the steele frame of the trailer) really thin cutting wheel bits (a thicker wheel bit cuts too jagged so use the thin ones). Flex Seal caulk for addeded peace of mind they won't leak but they do already come with a gasket.We liked these so much we are ordering two more. One for the door and one to put over the bed.

Great product. The only issue I had was the screw size when sandwiching them to the wall. The screws provided were not long enough for my camper walls. I used self-tapping lath screws of the right length. Worked perfectly.

We got it in but the securing ring was made to big for the window causing one side to not be able to be screwed in, it’s not as dark as it seems in the photo and theres no top and bottom, no matter which way you put it there’s writing upside-down in one of the corners which to me is slightly annoying. No instructions to help give you tips for install.

The window came packaged well. It had screws and interior trim. The instal was straight forward. I framed out and used sheet metal to complete my instal. Would def recommend. I love that it comes with the screen and tinted already.

The latch handle was broken upon delivery. Vintage Technologies responded by email quickly to problem solve the issue. The handle was shipped. The window is being installed in a vintage camper, but that part of the project has not happped. Will post review once installed. Customer service regarding broken product, excellent!

They had dents on the outside frame.. a couple scratches on the tint.. over all its an ok window but I expected it to be in WAY better shape when it got here

Easy to install

The retainer clamp sent to me was the wrong size - short by approximately 1/2". Screws would not even reach the window frame. I used the old clamp, and installed. I tried to return the new clamp, but Vintage Technologies would not honor a return unless I sent the window back too. Well, I cannot have a hole in my trailer for 5-10 days to wait for processing a return and replacement. The clamp has a barcode and part number on it. So, someone pulled the wrong product. I paid for YOUR MISTAKE, and now you will not reimburse the cost of the clamp.Also, the sealer foam on the inside of the frame has tape only on side. Double sided closed cell foam makes it much easier to install. I removed the sealer foam and used double sided closed cell foam. Finally, the window itself looks nice from the outside, and fits good. The latch on the window does not seem to lock from the inside. I could force the window open from the outside.
