Aastra 6731i IP Phone Power Supply Not Included

Been using this product in our office. We added new work stations at our office and needed more phones. Its been working great since we've installed it. Easy configured and works with Skype SIP. Just remember if you dont have a POE (power of Ethernet router/switch) you will need to purchase the adapter which is sold separately. Another draw back to this phone is it is 10/100 Ethernet port, so if you utilize 1000 / Gigabyte routers, this phone pretty much makes that feature pointless.

Phone was password locked without any guidelines. We had to let the local representative of the firm install the firmware again, which costed us about $100

Ordered to add to our other (older) Aastra phone system. After having to reconfigure the phone with the older software, all is working fine. If you do have the older line, this phone has picture notation on the buttons vs. written. For example, instead of a button listed as 'transfer' this one has a picture that indicates a transfer. Certainly not a deal breaker just takes a second glance.

The software loaded on the phone is not compatible with the Aastra Pro 160 controller.

The company I work for has roughly 200 of these phones. We use Vertical Televantage as a phone system and it works great with these. You do have to have a PoE (Power over Ethernet) switch to use this without an power supply. Has an extra port so that you can jump a network device, like a computer, off the phone.
