I wouldn't have believed it, but it's very decent!!!
I was very skeptical about buying this jacket. I have reached the age where I care about protection if I fall or worse.....so I bought this and I am pleasantly surprised! It's good fitting, comfortable jacket. I think it actually looks better in person too. It has quite a few pockets. As for protection, it is what it is.....an inexpensive jacket. It has some foamy armor padding on the shoulders and elbows and back. Not bad, but not comparable to a top level jacket. I don't ride crazy, and I mostly ride my scooter so this is good enough for me. Another thing.....it is heavy. If you are used to wearing a t shirt only, you will notice how heavy this jacket is on your first long ride. It's really pretty solid material. I honestly can't believe you can get a jacket this good for this price. BTW....I have not been in rain with it so I put five stars but I have no idea how it does. It does help you keep warm in colder weather.....50 degree weather I am good. It does seem to be able to get some air in it to breathe. I think it would be miserable in 90+ temperatures. Overall I am impressed with it. Good purchase!

Worth EVERY penny
I read a few reviews. Living in Spokane WA, between the weather (it gets COLD) and people who don't look for motorcycles, I decided to invest in safety gear. I was shocked how comfortable and warm this jacked was. The pads are perfect! They don't slip around. Lots of straps and snaps to tighten up. The only thing I did was tighten around my wrists. In mid 40 degree weather this coat was AMAZING! I was WARM. Almost debated about taking the liner out. I have an abundance of jackets and coats but I was tempted to turn this into daily wear just because of how comfortable it is. I have LONG arms and womens jackets sleeves are always too short so I buy men's. This is just WONDERFUL and the PRICE is GREAT too! I like things on the loose side so the 3x provided that extra room plus you could wear layers under with no squeeze issues. I could probably have done a 2xl or xl but for my comfort this was PERFECT. Looks good, feels great and definitely keeps you warm. Can't wait for the weather change to see how it feels in warmer weather. I'll update when that happens.

Good for warm weather.
I’ve only used it in 80-85°f weather so far. I took out the line which is easy. I keep all the zippered vents open. It’s very comfortable when movie. I get hot quickly while stopped but that’s to be expected in the heat, wearing black, and leather gloves, long pants, and boots. I haven’t been caught in the rain with it yet so idk how dry it will keep you. The fit is okay. I got a large at 5’11” 160lbs. It’s a little bulky in the torso and arms. Arms are easily adjustable when I’ll probably value more in the spring and fall. Sleeve length and length is n torso is good. Pockets could be a little larger but they are doable. The phone pocket in the removable liner will only fit small thin phones. It’s not gonna fit most newer phones but there’s other pockets that will. Not a problem it’s just odd that it’s labeled for a phone and won’t fit most phones on the market today. All in all it’s fine for the money and likely equals the quality of most other polyester jackets in the $50-120 range. Unless you want to spend a lot more or get leather I’d recommend it.

Better Than Expected
Given the low price, I had very low expectations for the quality of this jacket. However, when it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the weight and robustness. It is a serious riding jacket! The cordura-like outer shell is heavy duty, abraision-resistent. The protective shoulder, elbow, and back panels are firm rubber for impact and skid protection. The removable inner liner makes it a decent cold-weather jacket (which I don't need), and once removed, the outer shell is still sturdy but lighter for warm weather riding. I'm impressed. (I'm 6'2", 180 lbs, and the medium fit well. It is a bit wide but long enough in the arms.)

I wish I had this my first day riding/training. Great starter jacket!
Before I bought this, I took the MSF course and crashed on the last test. Fell on my right side and skidded on my shoulder. A week later, on my retake, I wore this jacket. I didn't crash this time, but it started raining. I was the only person not miserable. The fit is a little big but it has adjustment straps. I think the armor inside could be better, and I'll upgrade soon enough. I've taken it on many rides since getting my license, and it's been perfect. Without and with the liner as the temperature dropped, it has blocked wind, bugs, and cold perfectly except for the neck strap. I feel that across my neck a bit too much some times. It's hard to adjust that out. Anything at the bike shop is 3 times more expensive and only slightly better in design. Will I upgrade to one of those... Yes. Will it be soon? Probably not. I would maybe buy a size smaller because I'm a large tee shirt kind of guy and I'm almost swimming in this one, if not for the straps and velcro. I've gotten compliments on the style! I'm getting their riding pants next. Excellent material! Comes in other styles if this is too loud.

Happily Surprised with Value/Quality and Price.
When I was looking at this jacket I was wanting a lighter mesh jacket with airflow, but what I got was a full on riding jacket with insulation. The insulation comes right out. It is equipped with zip down vents, adjustable arms and waist and is actually very impressive with CE armor and reflective material front and back. This is a killer jacket for the current price.

Fantastic value
For the money, this is a great jacket. I am 5’9” 200lbs and got an XL. Fit is good, could have been an L but needed a bit bigger to get around the belly. (This is the husband reviewing) sleeves are just a tad longer than I would prefer but work out fine. Rode it without liner in temps 50s to low 70s and it was great. With liner it was very comfortable and should be warm down to low 40s. I removed the armor as I have never had a jacket that was comfortable with armor in.

I WILL USE A COMPARISON BETWEEN THIS JACKET AND MY JOE KOOL JACKET. Fashion wise, it is a beautiful coat. Get compliments on the colour scheme too. I love the Velcro neck tab on the outside of the jacket and not on the liner. (My Joe Kool jacket has a snap on the tab of the liner. Very frustrating to use) With the armour in, it is much lighter than my Joe Kook jacket. (The Joe Kool jacket is very heavy with the armour in.) The quilted liner is excellent. (My Joe Kool jacket has a plain vinyl liner which may block the wind but does not keep you warm nor does it breath so you freeze & sweat when it is in.) Cons: The main zipper is tough to undo and redo. (this could simply be because it is brand new) Lots of room on the waist & chest but, the belly is tight. (they said to order one size bigger if you are big. Normally I take a 2X and ordered a 3X. The belly is still tight but lots of room on the chest and waist.) When you move your arms forward as to reach the handlebars, the shoulders are tight. (this just could be because it is new and needs to be broken in - I will update on this.) The pocket for a cell phone is too small. I cannot fit my Samsung A50 in the pocket even when the case is removed. There is no extra snap to hang your keys or spare keys inside the jacket. (My Joe Kool motorcycle jacket has this feature, and it comes in handy when going shopping and you can hang your keys inside your jacket.) Not sure if I will be able to wear it in July or August because there are only two vents on the chest for airflow. (My Joe Kool is mesh. When the liner is out, air goes right through the jacket.) It may work out to be strictly a spring, fall, and winter jacket. (I will update this when July and August roll around in 2024) Conclusion: Other than the fit being disappointing, I am generally happy with the coat. It is a beautiful coat and already getting lots of compliments on its looks. I just have to decide if I should exchange it for a 4X or wait to see if the material gives with wear. UPDATE ON THE FIT: It did not take long for the fit to stretch out. After one ride on the bike the shoulders and back stretched out to a good fit. In addition, it was -13 degrees with the wind chill. You add in the added wind chill from being on the bike going down the road, and you realize just how warm this jacket is. And the thing I loved the most about the jacket was the Velcro tab on the outside of the jacket. It completely blocked any cold wind going down your neck. Great jacket. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic jacket. Very well made and fits perfectly. The waist and sleeve adjustments help tailor the fit. Lots of very usable pockets although the cell phone pocket should be made a little larger to accommodate larger smart phones. Pockets are lined with waterproof material. Has a zip in liner that is very comfortable. Armor is well placed and secure. Riding right now in 40F weather with just a t shirt under the jacket and plenty warm. Given the price I would give it more stars if I could
