Stansport Propane Cylinder Base Replacement for Camping and Backpacking , Black

Fits standard cooking stove propane tanks. Has lil extra feet that flip out for extra stability. I don’t worry that it is going to fall over.

I bought a small burner for my deer blind to heat soup and coffee. This base works excellent for support. Fits the propane bottles nice and tight like it should. The twist out tabs are nice for support and then turn back in for storage.

This base does what it’s supposed to do — once it’s on, the canister sits steady and doesn’t feel like it’s going to tip over while you’re working. The only annoyance is the folding wings; they’re stiff enough that you feel like you’re wrestling them every time you open or close the thing. Not a dealbreaker, just mildly irritating when you’re trying to set up quickly. Still, it’s a decent little stabilizer that gets the job done without taking up much space. Solid enough for the price.

I used this 1 pound propane holder recently while camping and it is perfect and sturdy. I am so glad I found it. I don’t have to worry about the 1 pound propane tank tipping over while I use it for various things whether to cook or as a heater, this is a great investment and safe.

Not sure why all these holders are not made to seat the cylinder deeper. As is, it is a pretty shallow seat. A simple change in design would have made it so much better. Also, cylinders are slightly different . the throw-away coleman cylinders seat properly, but refillable flame king's are a loose fit. I put a rubber H-band on them to keep them firmly in. Still though i decided to buy 1/2 lb version cylinders to get it even steadier.

Got this for a new micro burner for supporting the propane tank and utensils, works great folds up, fits in one of my pots for easy packing, very stable, and still allows some tight adjustment of the tank for levelling. I would recommend this stand.

At first I found it kind of loose and tippy, until I removed the black plastic bottom from propane cylinder and then pushed the cylinder down until it bottomed out in base, the it was very stable. Excellent quality and I will use this for many years to come.
