Brilliant foot commuters or light exercise
I bought these for the noise cancellation and in a word they cancel noise brilliantly. I use them on a bus commute and also walking through a city centre, they block out a lot of noise. On a bus, even sitting at the back over the engine, with people talking etc the noise reduction makes it go away to such a low level that you can have music on low and still not hear much external noise. You will still hear some noise, I can still hear a low bass rumble of the bus engine for example when on buses but only slightly. If you want to hear for yourself just how well they do that in comparison to other brands equivalents you can buy on Amazon like Bose or Sony etc there is a YouTube channel that has a video showing the noise cancelling ability of these in various situations, a YouTube search for "DHRME anc sound samples" will find you that video, probably much better than just reading descriptions. Sound wise they sound great, you can change the way they sound with the Jabra app that let's you set up a graphic equaliser to make them sound how you want them to, or choose from some presets. How they fit is something lots of reviews comment on. I haven't had them fall out even when I had my head upside down while doing a repair on something but I don't think I would trust them not to fall out while running or cycling. Some have done that and say they are fine but while I have never had them fall out even when I tried to make them fall out, they do still feel like they could fall out easily. That perhaps sounds like a contradiction, but I can say they do stay in while walking, being on a bumpy bus ride or vigorously dancing about. They feel well made and definitely feel like a premium set of earbuds, the charging case is surprisingly small but easy to fit in a pocket even with a phone in the same pocket so are easy to carry around. The controls on the earbuds can be customised to what you prefer them to do such as swapping between noise cancelling on or off, playing a different track, etc and the case will charge by USB c lead or by wireless qi charging so that's also a plus. I've used these for about three hours non stop in one go with noise cancelling on and they didn't get close to being at low battery level so battery life is good and they have a nice physical button on each bud not a touch sensitive sensor so you don't accidentally set them doing something while putting them in your ears. They also automatically pause music or videos when a bud is removed from an ear, although you can turn this feature off using the Jabra app. Speaking of the app, its very useful so if you get these earbuds consider using the app too. Its free and allows a lot of customisation to the earbuds as well as allowing firmware updates, product registration (you get a two year warranty against water and dust if you register for it using the app) and of course the graphic equaliser. It also tells you the level of charge in the case and in each earbud, so is a good thing to use. And if you want the noise cancelling but don't want to watch a video or listen to music the app has soundscapes like a thunderstorm or white noise and a few others to listen to instead. Sometimes the app doesn't find the earbuds as soon as you put them in (the earbuds still work fine without it and your programmed button options and equaliser and noise cancelling still work) but if you want the app to find them quicker (for the soundscapes or to check battery levels for example) just turn your phones Bluetooth on and then open the app before putting the earbuds in. Overall a very good set of earbuds that are great for commuting or being in noisy environments. Edit: I bought the Comply brand tips for these and they make them fit much better. If you have a problem with them feeling loose these tips should help.

Pretty good, wouldn't go back to wired or to no ANC
I've had these for nearly a month, used them a lot, and I like them. But... No, I'll save the but for end. So what's good? First, the noise cancellation. The main benefit is that you can listen at a lower volume in a noisy environment. Like a train or a car. It makes driving in the car as quiet as it must be in, say, a Bentley; although the inevitable crash damage will probably be cheaper than if you were actually driving a Bentley. So, yes to train and plane, but not in a car or on a bike, the noise cancelling is too good to be safe when you need to hear the world around you. Next, the bluetooth is great. It works for me at least through a couple of brick walls, and the danger isn't losing the buds, it's forgetting where the phone is. I guess that's a downside of true wireless. Thirdly, the sound quality is fine. I've never been golden eared, but it almost betters the best wired earbuds I've used. Without the irritating noises off, too. Next, and maybe it should have been first, the setting up is great. The Jabra App listens in to what your ears are doing and recommends the best set of tips - at first I doubted it, but after swapping for a few days, I know it got it right: the buds have never yet fallen from my ears, and are comfortable to wear for hours. Speaking of hours, I've had no issues with battery life, so for me, at least, there's enough in the buds for a decent journey and back, and the battery in the case means I don't need to plug into a charger more than a couple of times a week. Impressively, the app takes you through a neat hearing test, to reveal the deterioration of the years and maybe even improve what you hear - the little graphic is rather cruel! But you only do it once, or maybe once a year, so it's a small price to pay for the listening pleasure. And now, that but. Nope, I've deleted the but - problem fixed with the aid of Google.

Not the best earphones for calls - but good all round
I bought these after doing a fair bit of research about the 'best earbuds for calls' I wouldn't say these were it. They are still very good earphones and I don't fully regret my purchase, but I'll first list out the negatives: - They constantly pick up far-away sounds during calls that I'd even struggle to hear with my naked ear. It's a constant disruption if you like to 'walk and talk'. - The fact that you can't turn off the ANC when talking is a pain, sometimes I like to be aware of my environment when hearing through headphones and hear myself so I don't get too loud. The only way you can turn this off is by muting the earphones, but you don't always need to do this. - You can only use the right earbud, and the other one only works within a literal head-sized space from the other. I shared my earbud with my partner so we could watch a movie. It kept disconnecting and reconnecting. In terms of positives, there are still many, here's some highlighted ones: - Wind noise feels next to non-existent, there isn't much disruption on the calls either. - Call quality improved drastically compared to previous airpods. My voice was a lot clearer to those I was speaking to, there are just the rare disruptions with far-away noise. - Comfortable fit, they stay in as well which is essential if you move a lot. - Great sound, the ANC isn't TOO much either, I've tried the SONY's and they make you dizzy, this is a good medium, ANC isn't everything but it's just enough to get you to zone out when needed.

Compares poorly to the cheaper Elite 65t
I bought these to replace a lost pair of Jabra Elite 65t headphones, which is (like every Jabra product I've ever owned) frankly excellent. However, I give the 85t a 1* rating because they are simply not better than the 65t on any measure, despite being newer and costing somewhat more. I thought I was treating myself, but when I found my 65t and compared side-by-side, I realised I'd been duped. The problem is the fit... the 85t has oval ear pieces which just don't fit, while the 65t has round ear pieces. This causes three big issues: 1. The 85t does not stay in the ear like the 65t did. I would happily wear the 65t cycling, and have never had one fall out. I would not trust the 85t to stay in the ears. 2. Even with ANC on the 85t, it is nowhere near as good at blocking background noise compared to the passive noise cancellation of the 65t. (For context, I struggle to hear an audible story while at the gym using the 85t, but have no problems with the 65t). 3. While both headphones in "hearthrough" mode are useless when cycling (because of wind noise), the 85t also creates wind noise when cycling in ANC mode, while the passive noise cancellation of the 65t does not. We still need to consider the sound quality. Possibly the 85t is better sound when indoors, but I can't really tell the difference. And the microphone quality: both are fairly poor, but people complain more when I'm using the 85t then they do when I'm using the 65t. Sorry, Jabra -- I am a fan and bought and used many of your products, but the 85t is not a premium product. I'm past the 30 day return window, so I'll chalk this up to trusting you and not bothering to read reviews.

Jabra Elite 85T - The ones with actual adjustable ANC
Going back to an open-space office where everyone is still on Teams calls after 2 years of working from home has been challenging, making ANC headphones necessary. Disappointed with the terrible and unreliable experience of using my AirPods Pro on Windows for Microsoft's Teams calls, I sought to find some decent sounding wireless active noise-cancelling headphones with cross-platform Bluetooth multipoint support. I finally settled on the Jabra Elite 85Ts because of their superior balanced sound, semi-open ear design with all-day comfort, and seamless wireless access for music, videos and calls with adjustable ANC across ALL of my devices (iOS, Windows and macOS). Having tried the Elite 75T, Elite 85T and the Elite 7 Pro, for my ears, the 85Ts are louder, and the soundstage is more expansive, refined, and balanced. The 85Ts offer punchy, lusciously deep bass without needing the volume all the way up. With the 85Ts, I can hear bits of songs that I cannot on the Elite 75T and Elite 7 Pro. A good example is Billy Eilish's "Bad Guy" -- her whispers and sighs can be heard all around my head and are goosebump-inducing. Both the Elite 75T and 7 Pro supposedly have ANC on board. If they do, it's hardly noticeable where on the Elite 85Ts, it is. If I go into the Sound+ app and adjust it, I can immediately hear it reflected in my ears. Not as good as AirPods Pro, but close. It's almost like on the Elite 75t, and Elite 7 Pro that ANC was an afterthought supposedly addressed with a firmware change ... oh wait :) The other thing I like about the Elite 85t is the semi-open ear design which reduces the clogged/pressurised feeling you get from the 75T and 7 Pro. This seal is required to achieve volume and bass; without it you get a weak tinny sound. In the 85Ts, this is achieved with larger drivers, while outside noise is blocked via actual ANC. Less suction required! Similar to the AirPods Pro, this semi-open ear design allows me to wear the 85Ts comfortably for several hours without taking them out. It's also nice to walk around and breathe without hearing it reverberate in my head! In addition, the Sidetone feature, which is customisable from the Sound+ app, is also very effective. I can hear myself speak when I'm on calls and don’t feel like I’m in a well. Multipoint or "handoff" is something I've enjoyed across my Apple devices but never cross-OS between Apple and Windows until now. Multipoint functionality allows me to seamlessly switch between two devices, in my case, an iPhone and a Windows PC. For example, listening to music or taking calls on my iPhone. As soon as a Teams call comes in on my laptop, I pause the music and immediately pick it up on the PC. No disconnecting and reconnecting is required. It works really well. To complete the seamless experience, do yourself a favour and invest in the Jabra Link 370/380 adapter, making the process even better by maintaining crystal clear audio and functionality. You can use the buttons on the earbuds to control medial playback, volume and answer/hangup, and mute/unmute Team calls on your laptop. Totally worth it. I wanted the newer, smaller, sleeker Elite 7 Pros with longer battery life to offer superior sound over the slightly older 85T's, but they don't for my ears. The Jabra Elite 85ts reign supreme and even sound better than my AirPods Pro for many songs.

Great
When it comes to headphones or earbuds I’m very picky. Order of choosing comes down to, in no particular order. 1. Sound quality 2. Ease of use. 3. connection quality 4. Noise cancelling 5. Looks 6. If they can block the sound of my wife chatting. And I can say these fit the bill in every area. I owned many ear phones over the years and I find these finally seem to do a bit of everything well. They sound great, I thought these are Jabra they’re for calls and won’t compare to my high end headphones that cost hundreds. But they actually do a good job. They turn on as you take them out of the case and connect , and to more than one device. Genius! They stay connected, I can walk around the house leaving my phone and they stay connected and don’t drop out. The noise cancellation works well, I can be sat next to to the mrs and it sounds like she’s a muffled 20 feet away from me. Ok it’s not perfect, but then wife cancelling headphones can’t be too far into the future. Phone app is good aswell. Only negatives. Battery life could be better , maybe that’s the noise cancellation but find it’s ok for a few hours and then needs to be popped back to the case. I do thumble around getting these things in and out of the case. Which way round to they go, and which ear because the L and R are so lightly written it’s hard to see.

Impressive earbuds for the price I paid…but now UPDATED
Update April 2024 Unfortunately a couple of issues have arisen recently with my 85T’s resulting in downgrading to 3 Stars. A few months ago the left earbud stopped charging to 100%. And a couple of weeks ago a kind of ‘feedback’ noise became audible in the right earbud when set to hear through or ANC. Not when set to ‘off’. Support suggestions were prompt, but amounted only to resetting the earbuds and reinstalling firmware, but without resolving the issue. Being about 10 months out of warranty Jabra support understandably wouldn’t replace them but did offer a 30% reduction against a new purchase. After researching I opted for Jabra Elite 8 Active. However, their subsequent offer was based on an outdated £199.99 price, not the £149.99 price advertised on their own and other leading sites. Total cop out. Not impressed. Particularly when I feel sure that my issues are related to Jabra firmware updates that are negatively impacting my older 85T’s. =========== I have been looking for a good set of true wireless earbuds for quite a while, primarily to use at the gym, so important that they sound good, feel secure and have some level of water resistance. After lots of research, the Jabra Elite 85T were my choice. Highly rated on lots of review sites and at a really great price - I paid just over £144 for the Titanium Black variation. And so far I have been very pleased with them overall. I should point out that these are my second set of Jabra Elite 85T earbuds. My first set presented several set up issues that I was unhappy about and suggested to me that they were faulty. Amazon return and refund the next day was quibble free and I ordered a new set. I’m pleased to say the new Jabra Elite 85Ts I ordered have been everything I had hoped for. Set up was seamless and trouble free, and the app is great, allowing lots of customisation. So far I’ve used them in my garden a few times and also during a few sessions at the gym sessions. The sound quality has been great - maybe not the very best I’ve heard but clear and nicely balanced - and they feel secure. That said, my gym sessions don’t include vigorous exercises or running although I have no reason to think they wouldn’t be fine. Active Noise Cancellation is easily activated although not as effective as some have reported. That said, there is a clear difference between ANC being on or off…just that I can still hear a degree of background noise that I expected not to. I got a phone call while pottering about in the garden so a great opportunity to test out that feature of the earbuds. After a single press of the earbud I was able to answer my call and chat. Initially the other party said they couldn’t hear me very well…as if I was a long way off….although OK once I sat down. The earbuds adjusting to me receiving a call for the first time…? Time will tell but not a good first experience. Battery life was a factor in my choice and so far has been excellent. Certainly seems to be living up to the hype. The carry/charging case the earbuds fit snugly into is remarkably small and compact. Incredible feat of design to have developed something so tiny yet so effective. Not tried the wireless charging capability yet but another great feature. So in conclusion, although it’s early days, I’ve been very pleased with the Jabra Elite 85T earbuds for the price I paid. Great sound quality, they feel secure and are suitable for use in the gym. The carry case is compact and will fit into the smallest pocket. Battery life is excellent and the Sound+ app presents a variety of useful features including customisation. As for ANC, good but not great, in my opinion, and the jury is out on using them for a phone call.

Jabra 85t - a pleasing suprise!
I chose a gold pair of these stylish compact Jabra 85t earbuds - mentally challenging them to live up to the online hype and positive reviews I'd read online. I am pleasantly surprised, and they continue to live up to expectations. They have a compact case, with power cable (USB connector) and can be wirelessly charged. They come fitted with medium sized soft plastic ear inserts to help them fit snugly yet comfortably in your inner ear (also supplied with two other sizes, small and large). Having initially downloaded the Jabra Sound+ App, within which you can change settings and functionality, i selected a basic run through of how to set them up and use them. There is a fairly comprehensive info and help guide you can access, as well as ability to contact the Jabra tech team for assistance which I did at one point to do with Alexa pairing. The response was quite quick and comprehensive. So far I have been using these earbuds in basic ways that make my life easier, more convenient and life enhancing. When in the car I can ask my phone's google assistant to call someone for me. The call comes through quickly and clearly, whether using the 'hear through' option when I'm driving, or using the seriously good ANC function (Automatic Noise cancelling) when walking next to a road, or doing boring jobs in the garden and noisily cooking and washing up in the kitchen. Both myself and the other person can hear each other clearly and it is a pleasing experience (plus I get pesky jobs and errands done). Music listening wise, I am impressed with the quality of sound when I listen to Viking FM (using their app). Easily comparable to listening via Twin Alexa speakers. I haven't needed to modify any of the settings available to me yet, via the Sound+ App - yet it's comforting to know i can easily tweak things if i wish. This includes Earbud functionality: i can change which earpiece i press and how to control volume, ANC, play, pause and so on. Even though I wasn't used to Earbuds and how to pair them up with my phone, then use them for calls and music - I was able to quickly and easily pick up what to and when, plus avoid cutting calls off!). The only negative I can find, is for now, Alexa pairing/connection option is not available. Hopefully this will be reinstated in the future! Extremely happy with my Jabra 85t earbuds, I believe they are durable and will give me many years of service, definitely rating them as worth their higher price point and can recommend them

Best Professional Bluetooth In The Market
After trying many different types of Bluetooth. I came back to these once because of the quality of sound and the quality of voice which is heard on the other side. By far the best Bluetooth headphones I come across. About an even expensive one of technics. But was very disappointed when all my test calls the receiver said that we cannot hear your voice clearly. And when I try this one my voice was clear to the receiver. Highly recommend if you are looking for a Bluetooth headphone which is frequently used for taking business calls and you need to talk and that as well

Superb sound quality
Superb sound quality, no complaints about that side. But it does not fit on my ears properly, it will fall off easily. Said that it is probably because I am a small person in size so do my ears. Probably will not be a problem to others. Not as comfortable as 'Bose Quite control 30' neck bank that I have. Very fast connectivity. I loved the Jabra mobile app from where I can control the ear phone. Noise canceling can not be compared to to 'Bose Quite control 30' but it is still very good level of noise cancelling, Very good battery life.

Terribly bad
I am a huge fan of jabra since 2016, i bought products from it twice and this product was the third it was a terrible idea The earbud is so big that could easily fall off my ear if i moved. I even tried the spare parts but none of it stick or become stable in ear I wouldn't recommend it to any one
