Occidental Leather 5137 Extra Large Tape Holster

Got the XL tape holder. I’m an electrician with the occidental tool belt and bag set up. I added this tape holder and my 16ft Dewalt tape fits perfect. Nice and snug with enough wiggle room when I break It in after some use. I’ll post another review in a few months to update how I like it and how it’s held up.

Simple heavy duty real leather. Don't waste your time with less.

Absolute love this product. I own a occidental belt and hammer hook As well. My belt consists of two McGuire bags on either side and my hammer hook and tape holder In the back. I love this set up. As far as tape, I run a 30’ fat max with clip removed. Before putting this on my belt I put my 30’ tape in it and install a wood shim on both sides to stench the leather, I let it sit like this for 2 days. Now I have no issues putting tape in and pulling it back out. Strongly suggest this for any tool belt set up.

I work near the water where tools are occasionally dropped overboard. Once a tape measure hits the water and sinks it’s almost impossible to salvage. I have never heard of this name brand before. However I really like reading reviews and this item had lots of positive things said about it. I tried several types of tape measure holders before this one and just wasn’t satisfied. This one did not disappoint. I dislike the type of holders that hang down below the belt. I prefer mine to be up even with the belt line. When squatting down while working and climbing it stays clear. Especially with a full body fall arrest harness. A little pricey but extremely well built and accommodates a 25’ Fat Max perfectly. I actually misplaced the first one I bought somewhere after about 2 months. I ended up buying a second one not long after. Like I said, it did not disappoint and held up to it’s positive reviews. Definitely would buy again.

I was looking for a measuring tape holder by far this is the best one that I have found anywhere. I would buy another one but I probably won’t have to due to the quality of this it will probably last a lifetime.

I use only Stanley Fatmax tape measures. This thing holds my 25 ft tape firm enough it won’t fall out and lose enough I can get it out with no effort.It also holds my 40 ft Fatmax when I’m dealing with material over 25 foot. The 40 takes a little more effort to get out. This holder fits 3 inch belts.I recommend this product!

Work great took and submerged in water insert my tape measure left it over night and it holds my 25’ fat max perfectly!

It’s amazing, I wear it on the back of my belt, I have a Milwaukee 25’ tape with magnetic tip, and I kept the metal clip on it and it fits snug, and deep.
