Wagon Trails and Waggin' Tails: The story of four dogs and the wagon train that took them on the 2000 mile journey from Independence, Missouri to the Willamette Valley in Oregon in the year 1850

I purchased this book for my brother and ended up reading it myself. My brother is a history buff and a dog lover so I know he will not be disappointed at all. The paintings and story lines are terrific. I was not a history buff at all, however now I realize history can be exciting, not boring.....especially when stories are well-written and draw you in.
