Sofa Shield® Couch Chaise Lounge Slip Cover for Dogs with Strap, White

Just what we needed to protect our theater seats which is where we eat dinners. We didn't need the arm rest covers so I simply cut them off with scissors and tucked the sides into the seat sides. Perfect. These are soft, cozy, and somehow really stay in place well. No more having to clean foods off the theater seats. Hahah!

We purchased similar couch covers to protect our outdoor furniture from pets, and they’ve been one of our best investments. Our furniture is over 12 years old, yet the cushions still look nearly new because we’ve consistently kept them covered. Our dogs love sitting on the furniture, but instead of worrying about damage, we simply remove and wash the covers after exposure to wet dogs, dirt, or regular use. This keeps the cushions clean and has greatly extended their lifespan. This version is even better than our previous set, with extra material for easier installation and elastic straps that fit securely. I’m hopeful they’ll stay in place better and prevent our dogs from pulling them off. Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality. The fabric feels durable and well-made, and based on past experience, these covers last 2–3 years outdoors, which is excellent given the sun, weather, and daily use. Five stars!

This is a very nice cover and would get 5 stars if the elastic strap worked better. The connectors on the strap to the cover disconnect from the cover easily and can be a little hazardous when the strap flies off. If the connector wasn’t open in the middle, it would stay on better. The strap isn’t necessary, but would be helpful in keeping the cover on the couch if it were more reliable. Other that the strap issue, this is a nice cover and the second one I have gotten. I recommend getting it bigger than the size of your couch so you can tuck it in around the cushions. So far, it is saving my couch from destruction!

I had my doubts about the fit on my double recliner sofa. The good news is that this is a quality product and fits perfectly! I had no need of the back elastic belt strap, it fit that well! My cats both climb up on the back of this couch cover and sleep all day in the sun light from the minute I put it on. Buyer happy, house cat approved! Excellent product and I highly recommend the sofa cover. My rating is a full 5 stars for a well made, well fitting item. Thank you!

Great product! This is our second time purchasing as our first one wore out after 4 years of full-time use by our big dog. It washes up well, made of good quality material and an easy fit for the couch. Highly recommend!

I liked this cover even tho the color I ordered (seafoam) is much lighter than in their picture. FYI, It’s more like a minty/aqua, pretty tho and seemed to be of good quality. It lost two stars with me, bc I never received the strap to hold it onto the sofa back and am being forced to return it. My little dogs sit on the back of the sofa and so that just became a no-go for me, because it won’t stay in place w/o that strap. I tried multiple times to contact this company since the day it arrived. I emailed Gorilla Commerce and they told me contact the seller. So. I’ve called, left a voicemail and talked to the virtual assistant and NOTHING. Virtual assistant says no replacement parts, return or replace the item. I’ll just say - its a nice cover but if you order it, if you don’t get that strap, the customer service on this one is just non-existent. PS I ordered 2 more sofa covers (from other companies). I refused to reorder from this company because they never cared if I got a strap the first time and I had no guarantee they would send me a strap the 2nd time either. The other covers I ordered were both a lil cheaper and one even had straps actually made in. I figured If it was gonna cost me to return this one (rural area, no UPS store in my town) then I might as well make sure to get a strap in the process. And Guess what? They both came with straps. Wow! Imagine that?! I decided on the one with the straps made in it. It’s made by Vanelux if anyone else is interested. The straps are bungied with no metal parts. Just seemed safer for my dogs as well. It’s really nice and fully reversible AND true to color, too. I know some said they wouldn’t stay on even with the strap on theirs so maybe this other type strap would. I’ve already put it on my sofa and It stays put with my little doggies. So win win - Mission accomplished. Now it’s gonna be time to pay the piper tho - with my 2 returns. I don’t care tho. I needed this to work. I was willing to buy a strap. I told this company that- but just got no response. It’s ok, alls well that ends well. I like the one I received better. It’s got two usable sides, both pretty colors and integrated straps just across a very ends that actually hold it in place. So, it was worth it, plus it was also a tad bit cheaper, too. Although, I could have done without all this stress. Blessings. Update: I finally returned the seafoam cover and they didn’t charge me the fee to return at UPS drop off point. Never did even receive so much as a return email from this seller, tho, so Im leaving it at 3 stars due to crappy customer service and the stress that I so didn’t need. Oh, and I decided the just keep the other 2 Id ordered. I actually got those two for the price of this one, and they both work, are both reversible, and have their straps, one has them built in. So now I have a change while ones in the wash, since my little dogs love the back of the sofa. I’m happy and they’re happy, so we wish you all success on your sofa cover journey! I have a long sofa which I love. I also have three dogs who I love (2 good-sized boys & a young doxy-mix girl). The comfy sofa in front of the large window is their go-to place. Long ago, I removed the large overstuffed back pillows in favor of more room on the cushions and a sleeker sofa profile. It's almost Romanesque in shape now. I was concerned about the back piece for slipcovers since my sofa back is almost non-existent. Comforters have been my protection from shedding and dirty doggy feet, but they always look so rumpled and messy, despite my efforts. Humans like to use the sofa too, so I wanted something which could make us all happy and certainly make the sofa more inviting to my human guests. I literally POURED over the slip-cover choices here on Amazon and read the reviews diligently. What attracted this slipcover was that the quilting was accomplished with some type of large embossing press rather than done with thread. No thread to be shredded by doggy nails. My new slipcover arrived earlier today and I wasted no time trying it out. The first photo is obviously before - pretty sad. The second photo is obviously after - pretty great! As you can see, I tucked the side covers under the cushions. Also, I had enough slipcover to tuck the front underneath the cushions (actually under plywood under the cushions; this was added to give some more support as well as provide a place to tuck comforter ends). No worry about the slip cover panel meant for the back of the sofa. My low sofa back meant more panel to tuck into the sofa. I could not be more pleased. Yes, my dogs' love of their sofa perch means I will always have to adjust the sofa to tidy it up from time to time, but the weight and seeming durability of this slipcover means my living room will now always looks so much nicer than it did before AND my dogs will still have their fave spot in the house to hang out. Everybody wins! UPDATE: I have had the cover for 6 weeks or so and cannot believe how well it has done. It STAYS PUT - pretty amazing for three dogs jumping on and off constantly during any day. It still looks as fresh as it did when I took it out of the box too. I am beyond pleased and so grateful! UPDATE: With some trepidation, I finally took off the cover and threw it in the washer and then the dryer. I just took it out and it looks completely brand-new! With 12 doggie feet on it each day 8 of which belong to two shedding canines, I am amazed at how incredible the cover looks and how it has held up. No more lumpy sofa on which humans don't want to sit! Woohoo!

Justo la medida que buscaba. La tela no es muy gruesa pero sirve para lo que es, proteger en general la sala. Sobre todo porque yo tengo dos perritos que entran y salen del patio a la casa, sin el protector se marcan sus patitas en la sala, entonces me sirve perfecto para mantenerla limpia. Las medidas fueron perfectas porque mi sala no es de medidas convencionales y la cubrió bastante bien, incluso sin necesidad de ponerle los ganchos para sujetar la tela.

I bought this for my brand new sofa & matching cover for the new chair. The color was a little lighter than I thought it would be. Irregardless I did not return for a darker color. These covers have truly been a saver for the couch and chair. I have 2 large breed dogs who don’t always stay off the furniture. The furniture is protected from dirt off the dogs and dog fur. I live in a working farmhouse, my husband is prone to sitting in furniture with manure, sawdust, mud, grease you name it and it’s on his clothes. These have protected not only the seat cushions but the arms as well. The covers fit very well, the arm cover part stays in place, the back stays in place and the seat stays in place. I tuck it slightly under the seat cushions. The strap works well to hold the back in place, tho sometimes it gets moved a little bit (5 year old can’t always sit still when on the couch ! ). I have washed this multiple times since purchasing and it has stood up well. It is not completely waterproof but for minor spills it offers some protection. All in all I am super pleased with the quality. I did purchase the couch cover on sale but the chair cover was not. I absolutely do not regret paying a higher price for the matching chair cover vs an unmatching cheaper brand. **note I don’t have time to primp & prim so it may not look immaculate in the photo but it serves its function fabulously **
