Q: Do these contain frutcose syrup?

It is going to depend on the company who is baking. These products are made from all over the world. If you find a product you want to purchase you will need to google the company to see what they use ir if it is convenient you may want to email or call the company for the answer. I bought some from Lebanon (not so great) but the ones I bought from Dearborn Michigan were terrific and the ingredients were natural but they did have corn syrup in them. It was one of the "binding" ingredients but everything else was all natural. Shatila Food Products from Dearborn Michigan - absolutely the best and sweetest baklava. Everyone loved them !

Q: Are they super sweet? Some places overdo it w/ honey.

Lebanese baklava isn't generally made with honey .. it's usually a syrup made with Rose water or orange water although my grandmother used Karo Syrup on occasion.. they don't have the tangy sugary bite of honey (or Greek Baklava). They are sweet, as a desert should be, but usually just hinted at rather than drowned in.. :)
