Bodno Magicard 600 Single Sided ID Card Printer & Complete Supplies Package ID Software - Silver Edition

It was definitely worth it to upgrade to the Magicard 600 and experience the high-quality of the color printing and additional capabilities of the software. I needed assistance with color printing and realized that I needed to install the drivers from Bodno's website. Angelo from tech support remote-assisted the installation and test print to a card with great results. Honestly, it was the best tech support call I have ever been on with someone... knowledgeable and shows personality and smiles over the phone. I appreciate the fee structure of Bodno's software and ability to get support... it came highly recommended from another organization, and I'm happy to share my positive experience so far.

This is a workhorse. Printed thousands of badges with no loss of quality. The software comes with lots of features for securing the badges on both sides including custom holograms

I already owned a Magicard Pronto, and I bought this refurbished Magicard 600 for better quality prints. I can say that the Magicard 600 can print in higher definition, but the color is not true to the image I see on the computer monitor, whereas the Magicard Pronto is. Often, the color was too dark or some colors were quite different from the image. This resulted in a lot of wasted cards and 3/4 of a ribbon due to experimentation with all the different settings. The user manual does not explain what each of the settings means. Joseph from Bodno tech support kind of pointed me in the right direction in one aspect, but I still had to do a lot of experimentation on my part. He suggested that the ribbon I bought on eBay was counterfeit, but it turns out that the ribbon that came with the printer was as mediocre as the one I bought on eBay, so my reckon that the one I bought on eBay was legit after all. (I, also, found out that the Pronto and the 600 have different kinds of Holokote watermarks from each other.) I think this machine is a bit overpriced for all the frustration I had to go through to almost get the results I wanted. I wasn't able to return this item because of Bodno's return policy that says it is unreturnable after 25 prints, which I had obviously exceeded. I sold it on eBay and recovered only half of what I paid. I never even opened the webcam box to try to use it, but the buyer told me that the webcam was not working. He did everything to try to make it work, and Bodno customer service admitted that it was defective. I had to refund the buyer for the camera. I really regret buying this Magicard 600 printer bundle in the first place.

Works great. Had a computer connect issue that they sorted out one time. Would recommend to anyone. Felix over there took great care of me

Had some trouble in the beginning getting set up, but HUGE thanks to Angelo from tech support who helped me figure it all out. Running like a dream now. He even helped me figure out what was wrong with my design. Best tech support made all the difference.

Excellent technical support - Angelo resolved my issue in a matter of minutes. He also made sure that my firmware was updated and I he installed the latest version of Bodno software. Angelo also went as far as to inquire about my camera and offered to set it up and instructed me on how it works. I am very happy with the support and with my Magicard 600.
