Very nice feeling towels. Only negative is I wish that they were a lil thicker, but they make good guest towels.

These hand towels are soft and absorbent despite being thin to the touch. I would recommend line drying at least partially or fully as these towels shed a huge amount of dryer lint which could mean that they will become too thin to be useful. Maybe line/air dry until almost dry then throw into dryer for a short time to fluff and completely dry, fully line drying might make these towels stiffen a little. These towels are from Japan where line/air drying is the norm and machine drying is seldom used.

I own no other towels. These are absorbent, super soft & lightly fluffy in a minimalist way. Love them. Have bought them twice. I hang them to dry after washing as recommended to halp them last longer. They dry fairly fast.

Towels are very absorbent, thin, and lightweight. Watch the length dimensions! It’s a little shorter than your typical bath towel.It’s not for everyone! If you’re use to the plush hotel quality towels, these are NOT for you. If you like thin towel that are lightweight, get these.I took these towels when I went to camp and it dried quickly. It was nice too because it didn’t add too much weight or take up too much space in my duffel bag.

Cant handle heavy towels because of shoulder problems. these are great...

I like towels that dry quickly and don't smell. So many towels these days are made to be soft and luxurious, so they're comfy...but they fail at their primary job which is to dry you off. These are very absorbent so they do a good job of drying you off, and they dry very quickly so you don't have to try to use a still-damp towel the next time you shower. My only complaint is that they are VERY small. Can't even wrap them once around me, and I'm not that big. If they were about 6" longer and wider, they would be perfect.

These wave-pattern Imabari towels are compact, not only significantly smaller than the usual American bath towels but also a bit smaller than another Imabari towel set we have (from CYBERL) with a straight stripe pattern. They are soft (softer than the other Imabari towels) but somewhat less absorbent than them. If you prefer a soft, fluffy feel, these may be better, but if you value absorbency more, then the other Imabari ones are better. Either way, we like these better than those you can get in stores everywhere as the Imabari towels are generally more absorbent, compact, and lighter overall.
