Great performance
The installation is typically quick. I am very impressed with the performance gains. My application was my 2012 street glide, stage 1 air filter, V&H dressor duals headers, rinehart 4" slip ons, and se cam replacement. I like that if I want to move up from 103, get higher compression pistons, or more the thunder max will let me make quick changes. The tech support via email was quick, and is even received a phone call after a couple e-mails so they could iron out the details with me. My installation required welding new bungs onto the headers, because stock headers utilize 12 mm bungs for the o2 sensors. I ordered zippers angled bungs, located both of them 3 to 4" from the ex ports (up to 5" I think was ok too) and installed the new o2's. Get a deep 7/8 socket with knotch for wires to screw those in easier. I helped a pal with his 2008 ultra's Install. This year comes with 18mm bungs for o2's already, but the new Bosch o2's are long. These longer sensors touch the tranny cover. We put an 18 mm bung plug in the port, heated up the rear cylinder header around the bung and bent it to a more desirable angle. This wasn't required for installation, but we prefer the extra effort towards our bikes for best performance, looks and function. That's why thunder max was mine and 3 other buddies choice for ECM upgrade. Easy to use, do it at home, bike has never sound or run better!

Easy to install and immediately noticeable results
Install was quite easy and the computer download and mapping were simple I did get stuck for a minute and got a hold of thundermax and they were extremely helpful and assisted me to get everything going. I noticed an immediate difference in throttle response and a smoothness of the motor through the gears and without any decel accel popping. It may seem pricey but it is worth it considering the fact that I had an fp3 that I could never get to run as smooth. So save yourself some money and buy the best tuning solution for your bike the first time out.

Bought this from Powersport Superstore and received it a day earlier than expected. They also had the best price I could find. This item replaced the Screamin Eagle Pro Race Tuner the previous owner had installed on my 2011 CVO Roadglide Ultra with K&N replacement air filter and Dragos Performance Dragula 2 - 2 into 1 pipe. Installation was fast and easy. Installed a base tune just to get the bike checked out for leaks in the new pipe but the bike ran better with the base tune than with the SEPRT . Frank Drago sent me a tune for this bike with his pipe and it runs even better. Looking forward to a trip to Utah to check fuel millage and see how the auto tune does and after that more Dragos cams and head work. there are many videos and performance shops that support the Thundermax and yes its pricey but time you pay for Dino tunes its cheaper in the long run. Love this product.

I've had this on my bike for several months now< install was easy I did have to install new pipes , due to the stock bungs for the O2 sensors are way too small, but they were very clear on this prior to my purchase. very pleased with the performance, as a friendly advisement... this does bypass jiffy stand switch so the bike does not shut down when I put the stand down, I haven't seen anything in the setup guide to coorect this. but I cansurely live with it, as it is my only downside to installing this otherwise great product!

Best tuning system on the market
i dont trust piggy back systems so the thunder-max is perfect for me. installation was a snap, just run the o2 harness, install sensors and replace the stock ecu with the tmax part. the tuning software takes the all the guess work out of choosing a tune. just click what you have and it narrows the list down

Love it! Worth every penny.
Installed Thunder Max on 2008 Harley Road King along with Freedom Performance True Dual headers and Combat slip ons. I already had the slip ons and had run them with the stock headers and ECM last fall. I had a ton of exhaust pop when rolling off the throttle. Immediately after installing the TM, and loading a base map, all popping stopped. Feels like a new bike...throttle response and torque curve is much smoother. Definitely worth the money.

Spot on performance.
Basic set up is easy enough to understand and system makes a difference immediately. A product that performs as intended and very well at that. Wouldn’t even bother messing with any other fuel management system.
