Stag Beetle Stuffed Toy

For the record I am a 32 yo F. This was the cutest little bug stuffy I have ever seen!! My daughter is 8 years old and she loves all insects!! She kisses june bugs when she catches them!! x.x I got this for her birthday and not only is she in love but I am as well!! Its so well made!! Its like leather on the outside, I feel like it was made with love!! It has the cutest face ever!! I hate stuffed animals because we as people tend to hoard them! But every time I see it, it makes me soooo happy!! It was a perfect addition to her other insect stuffies!!

It's a very cute stag beetle plush! While it isn't very cuddly due to the pleather used, it's surprisingly anatomically correct, and is a great display plush! Was much smaller than I expected, though, and sadly the stuffing is inconsistent in two of its legs and one of its jaws. I would definitely give this as a gift to any entomologist.

We named this fancy little man Gerard after Gerard Way. Gerard is super soft and doesn't take up a lot of space. He's the perfect size for photos and is easily a carry on size and memories of him will definitely carry on.

Ordered this for a Christmas present for my 6 year old bug-loving granddaughter. She has been telling me for months that she wants me to make her a stuffed "Bob". That's the name of the beetle she has kept in a jar for at least 6 months now. I'm an artist, and I sew. I looked online to get ideas, and came across this little guy. It was reasonably priced and I knew it would arrive much faster than i could make one. It's a bit smaller than I expected, but it is really put together well, and I know she is going to love it!
