I was prepared to be disappointed, honestly. And the only disappointment I have is that I wasn't disappointed. The speaker looks great, the light up dial and the "metal" accents (they're plastic but hey, I'm not complaining), all make a pretty little package. The sound is impressive! Not only can this thing get LOUD (way louder than you probably want it to, honestly), it actually has a nice rich quality. It also doesn't hiss or crackle - I've used it for music and podcasts. The silence you sometimes get in podcasts is as silent as they recorded it. Listened to one episode of a horror podcast and the silent sections are actually silent on this speaker whereas others had that tinnitus squealing/ringing faintly happening. For music, every note came in great, vocals came clear. As for the techy side of things, I charged it up to full, then over the course of two weeks I used it every day for no less than 2 hours and the battery didn't go flat. Bluetooth wise? It seems to have decent connection - other speakers/devices would stutter with the same distance/obstacles I put in front of this one, and the Simolio didn't miss a beat. The only "downsides" are that the FM tuner is a little finicky, and the antenna you can plug into the aux port doesn't seem to do much, coupled with a lack of on-device Bluetooth controls. The last part doesn't bother me TOO much because it's largely a set piece - like the old timey family radio in the center of the room. You're going to put it there and leave it - you can control the music from your phone after all. Easily the best Bluetooth speaker I've bought in a long time and a complete surprise at that.

I saw the reviews for this and decided to give it a try. Wow! Not only is it great looking the sound quality is great. It has some weight to it so you can tell it's not cheap. The wood is really beautiful. I love that the dial lights up too. It's a nice size to put anywhere. It also connected easily. The case that comes with it is a really nice hard-sided case with a handle. It also holds the cord for charging and the aux cable as well. I'm very happy with the purchase. If you enjoy the vintage look and are looking for a great bluetooth speaker, I suggest you try this one. I love it!

Of course it's AFTER the 30 day return window that this speaker stops working. The bluetooth connection gets dropped constantly with all devices I've tried with it. It not the devices' fault; they work just fine with other bluetooth speakers and headphones. I tried connecting my phone with the aux cable to the speaker as well and the sound would drop for 2-3 seconds every minute. I really like the design and sound quality, but un fortunately my particular speaker is a defected waste of space.

Good radio and speaker combo. With nice vintage look. Radio tuning is a bit sensitive and the size is very small. But I find it very versatile.

First, this radio looks amazing if you like the vintage look as I do. We have an 80+ year old house and this fits in well. It is pretty solid, the woodgrain is pretty, and controls are sturdy. The sound is incredible. It has very rich sound that is surprisingly clear and loud. Pairing with my phone was simple: turn the radio selector to "BT" and then tap to find it on your phone. The FM antenna is also good and the sound retains its quality for the radio. I am able to tune in to my local stations easily. The carrying case is a nice feature and I am looking forward to carrying this little guy around. For the price, it's worth it!

All around beautiful product. Very easy to use. I've had no issues with the battery life. I'm not an audiophile but the sound is great to me. Good volume range. The wood is very nice and slick. The carrying case is convenient and fits it well. I really love it. The only flaw is that the charging port is micro USB instead of usb-c. But all its other qualities outshine the one flaw. Really happy with this product. ☺️

This radio is solidly built, and has a heft to it, little larger than I thought, and has a neat retro look to it. Although the sound is, well adequate, could not get clearly the two stations in Chicago I listen to (WFMT Classical, and MeTV Radio). I have fat fingers, and found the tiny dials difficult to maneuver. Would like to give this radio a higher ranking, but is a 2 star in my book. Thanks to being a Prime member, it is easy to return to Whole Foods. Now going for a Sangean radio, so look for my review on that!!!

Excellent product

Bought it for my wife to use at work. She loves it. It's small so easily fits on her desk. Brings stations in well and has decent sound for the size. It's perfect for office. She uses BT to play Spotify or FM to play local country station. Charges with USB cable included.

I bought this as a gift for my parents. They love it. With the real wood and retro style, it doesn’t look out of place (in fact it looks incredible) in our family cottage. Small, unobtrusive, but with big sound for such a cute little speaker. The carrying case is really high quality as well. All in all this is a great product. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but in my opinion it’s worth every penny.

This radio is so retro and sophisticated looking. I especially liked the frequency knob in the centre that lights up nicely when turned on. The function is minimal and intuitive, and it is extremely easy to connect with BT.
