I have owned very high quality (10/10) corsets, and costume mimics (1/10). This corset (8/10) has strong stays, strong front closure, long strings (important because I'm trying to hold my liver in, as it seems determined to hang out!). I did pull an eyelet out when closing it for the first time, I will need to attempt to repair it on someone else once I have some assistance adjusting the laces perfectly. This corset is designed to be applied by the wearer alone (you can cinch yourself up), but I recommend having assistance the first time so that your laces stay even. When you unlace yourself let tension out the middle but try to keep the top and bottom as still as possible, and unlatch the front as soon as you are able. I find bottom up the easiest. Then when you go to put it on the next time, pulling your laces is mostly the center you are cinching down. Don't be too critical of yourself, it won't feel tight evenly. The center tightness is what makes the hourglass.I purchased 2 skirts, 3 blouses, a corset, waist cincher, and a double breasted vest, with the idea they are the foundation pieces to a full costuming wardrobe.I can mix and match, the skirts can be worn together as well as separately. The blouses and overgarmets allow a variety of styles!My ideas: Garden witch (dark pointy hat, wand, dark boots), fairy matron (flower crown, basket, pointy ears, wings), steampunk (goggles, medals, gears, top hat, stashbook, gloves), renaissance (basket, stash belt, parasol), pirate (handfan weapon, short sword, boots, wonky hat, booty belt equipped with liers dice and mug), hedgewitch (pocketed cape equipped with tarot deck and runes, staff, snap poppers)

I bought this as a part of a moth fairy costume I am putting together and I am very satisfied. Out of all the other cheaper waist cinchers on Amazon I would say this was the best choice. Had lots of positive reviews. The package came in two days, it had very clean and tidy packaging, came already laced up, and the color was accurate with the picture. I am not an expert on corsets but the boning feels very sturdy and flexible enough to be more mobile. However it is a short underbust it comes just a little under my sternum, I am 5’6 and my torso length is about 11 inches. The corset length is about 9 inches. I was specifically looking for a shorter corset so I could have more mobility but if you are looking for something longer and you have a torso longer then 10 inches this probably isn’t what you are looking for. The latches and the laces are very strong and have already passed my test of going out for a pasta dinner and a walk around downtown. It held up very well the whole night. My natural waist is 28 inches, and the size small when cinched all the way brought it down to 25 inches. I will recommend that you do not start out wearing the corset all the way cinched if you are not used to it. Work your way up to it first. The cotton is very soft and durable and if you are looking for a corset to dye I would say this is perfect for that. Overall I think this is a great corset for how cheap it was and will definitely buy it again in the future.

I was skeptical when ordering given the price. But this thing is way better quality than I would have every imagined. This is my first boned corset, but it has definitely exceeded my expectations for such a low price.The measurements do seem to be accurate to their charts. I ordered a medium which based on some of my measurements was on the smaller side but I am glad I did. The laces are long so they will allow you to extend things well past the higher measurement in their chart which helps getting it on. Once you get it on, as long as your tightest fit is between their measurement it'll leave you room to train further down as you get more comfortable. My measurements are below and for clarity I am a biological male this works great for the days that I want to dress up with a fem hourglass shape. Surprising quality for the price! The bones are in fact spiral steel bones which are more flexy than regular metal ones, but also more sturdy than plastic imitation baleen allowing a good level of tight lacing. I enjoy reducing about 4 inches off my waist with corsets and this allows me to do so while staying more comfortable and faster to break into than flat metal boned ones. It's also fairly lightweight. I'm 5'2", about 118lbs and my waist is 27,5 inches and I got the small size.

Sizing was perfect. Great quality fabric and structure. I bought it for Halloween but I will use it for LARP also as it's quality enough to wear full days.

The colour came off as more teal in the photos, but it looks more forest green. It is amazing quality and very sturdy tho. 10/10 for quality

This corset is not entirely steel boning. The front and back are steel but the rest is plastic. Not so “heavy duty” as it claims. But for the price it was too good to be true that it was all steel boning
