RGB LED Flood Changing Light, Outdoor Waterproof Remote Control Flood W/Cord and Plug APL1193, 30 Watt

Not quite as bright as true 30 Watt LED, but good.
I honestly don't think these fixtures put out a true 30 Watts worth of light. The output is more like 15, to 20 watts, at best. I think the LEDs are actually putting out 10 Watts per colour, not 30 Watts per colour.I'm going to put a meter on these for both the light output, and power consumption, and will update.I bought four of these to use for small stage lighting for a solo performer in a small, dark venue. The seem to look fine for one person, as long as they are not placed more than about 8, or 10 feet from a performer, with two units per stand. The beam angle is very wide, and makes this type of fixture ideal for one, maybe two performers in a confined space. I'd say the spread is at least 120, to 130 degrees. The colours are beautiful, and the beam is very clean, with no hotspots.I also got these fixtures to serve as standby backups in case I loose an ADJ Dotz Par, which is considerably brighter than one of these. If you want to gain a little more brightness, and confine the beam, you can use a freznel lens, cut to fit the glass face. You'll notice a more spotlight like effect with a freznel lens in place. This fixture comes with one colour that I've yet to find on many of the other fixuture. That colour is light pink. If you combine this with another fixture set to white, you'll get something that approximates "broadway pink" With two fixtures on each stand, you can set one to white, the other to the light pink colour, and with both stands in action, the performer will be fairly well lit, with skin tones brought out more.I would highly recommend going four fixtures per stand for a much nicer lighting scheme, if you go with 30 Watts. I really wish I could find a 50 Watt version, that has the light pink colour this model has.The remote is much better than any of the other models. The remote allows you to set 6 DIY custom colours / intensities. On two of the fixtures I got, I was able to slip the bolt of an ADJ O-clamp through, no problem. On the other two, I did need to bore out the bolt hole in the yokes to allow the O-clamp's bolt to slip through. Once the O-clamps were on, I was able to fly the fixtures on a T-bar.The length of the power cord is enough to go the entire length of the T-bar, and down part way of the inner most tube of the T-bar stand, so as to be able to reach a multi outlet, no problem. These fixtures don't get hot, just slightly warm to the touch. The cords use 3 prong plugs.Although these are IP65 rated, I highly recommend you put a bit of caulk along the seems where the bezel meets the back plate, just to be safe, if you intend to use these outside. All four of mine looked like the seems were a bit loose, even though the screws were tight. If you already use brighter stage lights, these can make excellent fill lighting.Filmmaker's note: These fixtures do cause flicker on tablet, and phone cameras. However, for live performances, there's no problem.UPDATE: As of 3 years later, (2019), All of the fixtures of this type have failed. They are now only about as bright as a keychain light. colours are no longer correct. Half the colours don't even work. The seals have also failed, and the housing has warped, leaving a visible gap between the seal, and the housing. Good thing these were only being used inside. I'd say they lasted about 300 hours.Utter rubbish. I do wish Amazon would do more to police the bad actors.

This product is great. Good waterproofing. GREAT BRIGHTNESS!!!
This product is great. I received it today. I placed my order on the 1st of march and had it by the 4th with Amazon Prime. I have it pointing up tree at the lake(i will post a picture of that soon i will be going there tomorrow(on 3/5/2016)). This is the first RGB floodlight that i have bought and it is great. It was also the cheapest. I recommend this product very well. The cord length was fine but it should be longer, but that doesn't make a difference for me because the nearest outdoor outlet was at least 20 feet away. I had to run a cord.I am a critic on outdoor lighting and this light is perfect for the environment. We only got this lake house last July and i had to wait till after the winter to start getting lights and i was very anxious. The remote control is good but it has to be pointing directly into the clear cover that covers the light because that is where the sensor is. I am defiantly going to buy more for around the house.Update: It is now June 9 2016 and this product is great. Absolutely no probloms. I have is on a daylight sensing timer set for 4 hours. It sits in direct sunlight and gets directly rained on. I have uploaded 2 pictures of the light in its current location at the lake. I did have it pointing at a tree but decided it wasn't bright enough. I'm not saying it wasn't bright enough it's just that the tree is about 3 stories tall. I highly recomend this to first time buyers and experienced people as well for a accent light. Or even for parties. I will post another update at the end of summer.

First one rocked the second one not so much
I originally purchased one of these TopLighting 10W LED flood lamps to illuminate a nativity scene in my yard and it rocked, meaning it was bright and the colors were vibrant and spectacular. Based on this performance, I purchased a second one a couple of days later for a different yard scene. However the second one did not perform nearly as well as the first. The intensity of the LEDs were visibly weaker than the first one I purchased. While the outer shells were nearly identical between the two, the actual LED strips inside the fixture differed. The first one with the great performance were small squares while the second one with less than stellar performance were small round dots rather than squares.I appears they may use a variety of different LED components during manufacturing, some good like my first one and other not so as discovered in unit #2.The second one was returned.

Awesome effects
The media could not be loaded. Two 10W lights would have been more than enough to light up an entire half front of my 2 story house. However I used 3 lights and 1 cheap outdoor spider web projector light. I placed the 10W lights about 4 feet apart from one another and about 4 to 6 feet from the house sidings and tilted all 3 of the 10w lights upward towards the house. It looked awesome. See video attached. I used it for two days. The day of and before Halloween. I had no issues with the lights and at night it looks exactly as you see it in my video. The only neg. is you do have to be directly in front of the light to use the remote. I purchased an automatic outdoor plug with timer that can run for 4, 6, or 8 hours a day and an option to do dusk/dawn all setting shuts the lights off at the specified time.

Meh
Definitely not as bright as advertised. It say 30 watt but probably closer to 15-20 watt. The remote control is a joke. You have to literally be withing 6 inches of the sensor for it to work. This light will not work without the remote, there are no controls in the light itself. Replacement remote is impossible to find. I doubt they sell replacements anyway. I had to buy a second light because the remote on my first light broke. Now I have 2 of these lights and one remote. At least with two lights, I'm probably getting the full 30 watts now. It's a decent enough light but I'd still look around at other ones.
