Q: how long can they be kept in the freezer?.

I still have the flyer that came with the beignets and Brian, the owner, says they have a 9 month shelf life frozen and 7 days refrigerated. We enjoyed the pastry and I shared them with my children who have all had the originals in New Orleans. They were smaller than the original but gave me a good reminder of what we had in New Orleans.

They are approximately 1 1/2 square, not all are the exact same size and are approx 1 ounce each.

Q: Does it come with powdered sugar like the ones in New Orleans?

I put the powdered sugar on after I fry them.
