Don't Ask if it Works; Ask if You're Willing to Work With It
I think to do this product justice, this will be an in depth review. Some initial information to start:1) AdvoCare is a business that wants to make money. Their goal is to have you buy as many of their products as you can over and over again. Realize this upfront.2) Proper nutrition and exercise are the ONLY things going to lead to LONG term fitness and health. I can't stress that enough. There is no miracle pill to make you fit; otherwise 66% of our country wouldn't be overweight.3) Getting results is hard work. I would not buy this product as part of a solo plan to lose weight. Plan on mixing in an eating schedule as well as an exercise plan. If you don't plan on eating more healthy, you will not see results. You will lose 0 pounds if you don't change your way of thinking. So, what is AdvoCare? Basically, this package is a mixture of energy boosters, various vitamins and supplements, and meal replacement shakes that, if followed, will almost certainly yield a weight loss result. The variables are of course your starting BMI, how much exercise you're going to put in, and also what you're planning on eating. This program doesn't specify an exercise plan, but if your long term plan is to keep the results you get, you're going to need to adopt a more physical lifestyle. Plan on drinking A LOT of water. A summary of whats in the box:Fiber Drinks: Terrible tasting, but it's fiber. It gets the job done. Worst tasting thing in the box by far.Spark Energy Drinks: Fairly tasty, and I did notice an energy boost.Chocolate Meal Shakes: Good protein amounts, not as tasty as some other stuff I've had, but again it gets the job done.Pills: Mostly good-for-you stuff such as fish oils, tea extracts, etc. etc, to help cleanse and get the metabolism going.I followed this plan exactly, and never missed a single pill or drink (which is difficult, considering there are over a dozen pills on certain days to take!) The instructions are a bit convoluted, but read very carefully and lay out your pills for the day and you should be fine. I mixed this program with a 500 calorie deficit per day, only lean meats and veggies with no alcohol or soft drinks, and alternating cardio / strength workouts. I'm a male, 5'10, started out at 174lb. This is 26 days later, and I'm now 163lbs (and still going). That's 11 pounds in a little over 3 weeks. This is the lowest weight I've been since I was a kid, and I'm finally starting to look toned. This program is excellent to jumpstart a long-term lifestyle change, as it gets you in the routine watching what you eat, and being more vigilant on how much you eat. This program did exactly what I bought it for, which is to help me get on a proper eating schedule and adapt to a lower calorie diet (And, considering you'll be spending close to $200 for it, you'll have good motivation to stick with it!) The simple truth is I likely would have got similar results with only exercise and healthy eating, but a program like this helps you adapt and stay on track those first few weeks. This is part of my overall 60 day plan to lower my body fat % and gain lean muscle. I know some people who continue with AdvoCare products after the 24 Day Challenge, but for me personally I don't feel the need. I can go get better protein shakes for literally half the price and twice the taste. Don't fall into a trap of using products like this forever; plan on eventually clean eating as being the only product you need. So, will this work for you? The better question is will you work for yourself. Getting in shape is work. It involves skipping that night out of drinks, jumping on the treadmill when your tired from work, and making a fresh meal when you really want that Big Mac. It involves changing your lifestyle, when our culture constantly pressures you to eat junk and sit on the couch. For the first time in my life, I'm getting happy with my body, and I truly feel physically better than any other point in my life. This product is a great starting point, but it can't be the ending also or you'll lose the results you got in those 24 days. I encourage you, more than anything, to gain knowledge about the human body, nutrition, and exercise. It's hard working out for 10 days, looking in the mirror, and not being ripped. But results take weeks, months, maybe even years depending on your starting point. You have one body. You owe it to yourself to make it the best you can be. It can start today, but the challenge never ends.I wish you the best of luck! Feel free for comments or questions.UPDATE 1: Yesterday was day 50 after beginning my challenge. My weight is now 156, which was my overall weight goal. That's 17 pounds lost in a little under 7 weeks. As stated earlier, Advocare got me started, but 7 day a week exercise, proper eating, and use of smart supplements (protein shakes, fish oils, etc) is helping me get toned. I can see abs for the first time in my life! More than likely, it will take another 4 weeks to get more lean muscle and more definition in muscles.UPDATE 2: It's been well over 4 months now, and I weigh 152 lbs - which is my ideal for my frame and height. Only thing I take is a protein shake in the morning, and good old fashioned exercise every day. I feel the best I have ever felt in my life. I'm never going back!

Very Respectable results
I am a 6' 1", 40 year old man who has pretty much had the philosophy that I'll eat whatever, whenever, and as much as I want and I'll just work out hard to overcome what I eat. Slowly overtime I lost ground. I reached my peak of 221 pounds and started AdvoCare 24 day challenge. I lost 12 pounds which was about as much as I could have hoped for.I followed the recommended diet as closely as I could and as much as possible I took the various supplements when I was supposed to. I also did My Fitness Pal on my smartphone where I tracked my daily intake of calories and tracked the weight as it came off.To lose 12 pounds in 24 days is a fantastic result and I'm really happy with it. However, what keeps this from earning the fifth star is the way I often felt on the diet. I was frequently hungry, which honestly is to be expected coming from an attitude of eating as much as I wanted, but that is not my biggest complaint. My biggest complaint is I often times felt lightheadedness and a few times I felt kind of desperate to eat something/anything which is a bad place to be. But you can't argue with the results.I only bought the contents of the 24 days challenge and none of the optional products. The seller was great and let me choose my flavors of Sparks and Meal Replacements drinks. My final thought to the readers who will come after me is that if I've learned anything in this process it is to track your food intake.

Works well, but....
Bottom line is you need to be extremely committed to this thing above ALL else for it to work, and it will. This means eating extremely healthy, no drinking and exercising for about a month.I do believe the supplements work. Especially the hunger curbing pills. I've never actually had anything work that well to keep me from getting hungry.Love the shakes, the fiber drink is hands down the most gross thing I've ever attempted to consume (recommend mixing it with oatmeal, don't drink it), and the spark is good.If you exercise with this diet your results will likely double or better. If you normally eat like a pig and you just take this on as a diet you'll probably still drop some weight. In the end I'd recommend it for sure. Just be ready to commit and DO NOT CHEAT!! If you do then don't bash it in a review cause it's your fault!

and it provides a good outline for the weight loss
I successfully completed all 24 days following the diet perfectly, having none of the restricted foods. Honestly I don't know if the supplements helped at all, I didn't feel much different. But paying all that money for a diet forced me to stick to it, and it provides a good outline for the weight loss. I started day 1 at 259 pounds. After the 10 day cleanse phase (the fiber drinks is by far the worst part, its pretty much vomit in a cup) I was down 9 pounds. 9 pounds in 10 days was impressive, and that was with zero working out because I had poison oak at the time. The Max Phase was easier to follow, and I worked out a bunch. Sometimes 2 - 3 hours a night, but at the end of the max phase (day 24) I was only down 5 more pounds. Which is still great, 14 pounds down in 24 days is substantial, but I was hoping for 20 down. Like I said, I really feel it was the diet that did it, but still the product technically worked, so 5 stars.
