Difficult to use in an office
This type of terry towel hot pack wrap is well made, but it has a pocket to place the hydrocollator pack in. It is difficult to put the hot pack into the pocket and you'll burn your fingers in the process. If you try to use the tongs, then it will take some time to wriggle it into the pocket. In a fast moving practice it's frustrating to use.On the plus side, there's on Velcro. The style that does have Velcro catches EVERY strand of hair and fuzz balls from the dryer and weaves it into the hooks of the Velcro and there's no getting it out.In conclusion, lose the pocket, lose the Velcro and use quality snaps to close the towel.

Perfect for holding the actual hydrocollator pack.
These are very high quality terry cloth covers that are the perfect way to hold your hydrocollator pack safely and contain a lot of the steam that would escape if you only used towels. It's the steam that causes the heat treatment to work. You still need to wrap a towel or 2 around this cover to prevent a burn and excessive steam loss. Do not exceed 30 minutes with any hydrocollator treatment.

Do Not Order These Covers....they should stop selling them!
Use " OXO Good Grips 16-Inch Locking Tongs " with hydrocollator. Tongs without plastic on grips will burn your hand.I ordered and paid for 4 standard sized "all terry" covers with velcro closures and what I got were the cheaper "foam filled" terry pocketed covers without velcro. The plastic bags that the covers came in had stickers on them saying they were the "all terry" ones but they were not. I am very disappointed these covers are made more cheaply. I shouldn't have ordered these on amazon! Maybe if I had used E-bay I would've received the all-terry covers. Amazon refunded me the price difference of $23.44. I contacted Sporting Doc Customer service. They said, "We are looking into this issue as we do sell both. We will look into our inventory regarding the issue."Another problem with the order: Just FYI, Although I like the hot pack covers, when you display a photo of TWO standard all-terry covers and words the advertisement as COVERS, a quick peruse would lead one to believe that there are two covers as displayed and as worded. It is only ONE cover. I contacted Amazon cust. service . Amazon says, Not our problem. I contacted Sporting Doc. SportingDoc says "We do not have control over the stock photos" & it says you get one cover in the description. But it is worded poorly. Their description doesn't specify this strongly enough, such as in Bold or Uppercase.

Soft Easy to Use Comfort
These provide a snug fit the heat packs. The design is a simple one and because of the it's easy to use.* I used something else and it was a hassle. The hassle outweighed the benefits and I suffered because of it. I'm happy to have these and am able to once again find relief. If you have heat packs and need covers these are a great idea.

Great idea!
I bought this along my cervical hot pack and my hydrocollator and I must tell you is much better than just rolling it on towels because of it's shape! Worth every cent.

Wrong item displayed
I ordered and paid for 4 standard sized "all terry" covers with velcro closures and what I got were the cheaper "foam filled" terry pocketed covers. The plastic bags that the covers came in had stickers on them saying they were the "all terry" ones but they were not. I am very disappointed and am returning these covers because they are so much more cheaply made and do not stand up to the daily rigors of my practice like the "all terry" ones.

Glad I got this
I use this with my heating pad.The pad gets very hot and this item AND a towel are needed to ad some insulation between your body and the heating pad.I guess you could just use two or three towels but I like the way the Velcro closures hold this cover to the heating pad.

The best is to let unwanted water drip off the pack ...
Keeps the pack warm, and also soaks up any unwanted "moisture" from getting you wet. The best is to let unwanted water drip off the pack before placing in the cover, or simply blotting with a towel. Works great!
