A matter of kinship
A clear, direct, and sensitive discussion of the influence of patriarchy, not only into the life of the Catholic Church, but into our broader human experience. BUT, with an equally clear, direct, and sensitive response that draws upon a solution in true feminism which recognizes kinship with one another, with all of creation as critical.

Prophetic words for the world we live
Elizabeth Johnson has a way of communicating truths that are seen as controversial in much of the United States (and perhaps the world) in a way that disarms and reorients the readers perspective. I am convinced of Spirit's role in our lives. I never thought to apply it to the ethics of creation care and now I cannot stand to divorce the two. This book helps us to remember the Spirit's role in creation past and ongoing. It informs there reader of how they may participate. It is both theological and directly applicable.
