Happy Hounds Buster Dog Bed, 24 by 36-Inch Small, Denim

I was looking for a bed to fit in my dog crates, but wanted something thicker than the usual crate pads. I have two crates, 24x 36 for a Golden Retriever and a Basset, buth large dogs. I placed the order for two of these beds, but the description said 'small' even though the dimensions were correct. When the beds came (separate boxes and with cover not on the pad) I couldn't believe how big they were. The box said 'medium'. (interesting, this now says 'large').....With considerable effort, I was able to put the covers on and got them into the crated. They do look somewhat smaller once they are in the covers which are not denim, but a suede cloth.. The dogs have slept on them for several nights now and the beds are taking shape and are not quite so bulky....it took some coaxing to get the Basset to 'jump up into his new bed'. I think for the price, the beds are a good deal, but you will not know from the description what you are getting until it arrives, that's for sure!

I bought an old, wooden couch from the 60's or 70's from an estate sale. It was beautiful wood but had the ugliest cushions ever! Looking all around the internet, I couldn't find cushion covers that didn't cost a fortune. I came across these dog beds and they were the exact measurements that I needed for my cushions so I decided to take a chance. They are perfect and oh so nice! I left the dog bed mattress in the covers for the back cushions to make them a little softer but put new seat foam in the bottom cushions. The covers are soft and durable yet have a water-resistant backing. I am so happy that I was able to recover my couch with denim cushions for next to nothing compared to custom covers. You can't go wrong with these dog beds. If they are nice enough for my living room couch, then they are nice enough for any dog! And yes, my chihuahuas love to sleep on the couch! And no, no one ever knows that they are dog beds unless I brag about them and tell them!

I’ve had this bed since April of 2020 when I was preparing to get my puppy, Oakley. It has lasted and still looks brand new after I vacuum her fur off the cover or wash it. Super durable, nice and thick, fits perfectly in a medium sized crate. I’ve had her since she was 8 weeks on June 6, 2020 and it has been close to 14 months thats she’s used it. She never had an accident in her crate but did throw up once and it was super easy to clean and like I said before, still looks brand new! This thing will probably last for many years to come!

I bought this bed for our 55 pound pittie for use in his crate, since it was the exact dimensions. What I was not expecting was how incredibly thick and BOUNCY this bed is! There was no way we could use it in the crate because it stands around 6 inches off the ground, so he would not have been able to sit on it without hitting his head on the crate. HOWEVER, our dog really loves this bed. He sleeps on it for hours at a time while I work in the office. Just be aware that it really is a bit bouncy, and for that reason I wouldn't recommend it for people who have two dogs that might want to share it. If our dog sits on one end, the other side lifts off the floor. Thankfully, he's learned to snooze right in the middle!UPDATE: 10 months later, the bed has gotten a bit more flattened and we now use it in the crate without a problem! Our dog loves this bed.

I do like this dog bed so far. And the dogs are enjoying it too. The only issue is that it arrives with just the inner cushion, without the cover on it.It's not that hard to get the cushion into the cover - but I've never seen them shipped that way before. I think they are doing themselves a disservice, since when it is put together, it looks pretty good. But without the cover, I thought I had made a bad error in ordering it. But after a brief tussle to get the bulky cushion into the cover - it started to look like what I ordered. The dogs had the final word of approval, and they hopped right on and started napping! (after fighting over it, of course...)

The good points of this bed:1 - It's big. It's fits our 80 pound German Shepherd just fine.2 - The covering has a very short nap. This allows you to easily vacuum it, and doesn't give fleas a home to hide in like a woolier covering would.3 - The price is very reasonable for a bed this size.4 - Construction is solid.5 - It looks good.The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that my wife wishes we could get the stuffing distributed more evenly. However, since it's not a foam pad inside, the stuffing will always end up pushed a bit toward the outer edges because the dog typically sleeps in the center all the time.

Cover is very tight on the pillows. Arrived in box, no plastic covering to protect in case the very poorly taped box opened.One of the covers had a broken zipper. Glad I had a zipper pull and know how to sew and fix zippers, otherwise it would have been returned.The size of the bed fits the space I need, but on a scale of 1 to 5 I'd rate it a 2 for packing; 1 for the broken zipper and 3 for quality. So really should give it a 2.5 star. I'm only keeping them because i could fix the zipper and the size of the bed.

This bed is great!! We have 2 smaller furbabies, around 25lbs each, but they have always shared 1 crate thought they only get the door shut at night, 1 used to go lie in the crate but the other only would go in at night, now it is a battle to see who gets to lie in it. We never thought we would see the day he would choose to nap in there but he loves the napping in the crate with this bed!! Holding up well and I have washed the cover a few times. Wish they offered a replacement cover so still available while in the washer.
