Impressive for its size
Oh dear I thought to myself when I got it out the box, looks like I’ve bought a toy oneBut then I used it in my quite big Daf XF super space cab , well it done a lovely job of cleaning up the cab, attachments get you into the bits you need to , and used with a 5 amp battery done the truck cab and most of my car, not the end of the world if you have batteries on hand, easy to use, easy to clean out the dust bag, it’s never going to have the suction of a corded vacuum cleaner so don’t think that it’s going to, be realistic. For a portable battery vacuum cleaner it’s a bit good , if you already have Makita kit and batteries it’s a good addition

Great go anywhere lightweight vacuum
Good for what it is. Has a limited suction as you would expect for a small battery vacuum...but very handy.

Ideal just the job for the car
Easy to use no power cables across pavement multiple uses value for money

Nice idea and might be ok for smallest jobs
Handy for the very smallest of single indoor jobs, but really not enough suction and not a large enough dust hopper for even vacuuming a car.

The reviews are right, it has virtually no suction
I have standardised on the Makita 18V battery system and this looked ideal for cleaning the car. It's lightweight, easy to use and the supplied tools are really good. I really wanted it to work but I have had to send it back because it is simply not fit for purpose. There is virtually no suction. I was trying to clean up some modest sand and very small bits of dry soil in the back of the car and it simply wouldn't suck them up. All noise and no suction. I have since purchase the Makita DVC750L, a bit larger and heavier but still very portable and that works just fine. It has plenty of suction even on the lower 'speed' and is perfect for cleaning the car. It has only two tools with a crevice tool and one that works well on carpets which also store on the machine. It's a lot more money but at least it does provide very good suction.

Poor suction power
Suction power not as good as I had hoped, although it does an ok job. The grey nozzle attachment is hard to push on and for me it falls off during use. Other attachments are good. The unit as a whole is easy to use and lightweight.

A bit under powered
Good enough for small jobs but suction could be better
