This thing is awesome! Why
This thing is awesome! Why? It's the only shaker I have used in my *life* that doesn't do that confusing off-time rhythm thing where you have to shake it slightly *before* you want to because of the delay. It goes on your foot, so if you're playing something else and you're already tapping your foot to keep time, it adds an extra layer of percussion onto whatever you're already doing. This would go great with an acoustic guitar as well. I use this with a foot tambourine on my other foot while playing the cajon, and I've got a nice, filled out sound, where I can essentially use the foot shaker as if it were a hi-hat, keeping a solid beat, and the foot tambourine to accent, as if it were a crash (though a little more often).

Nice sound, not too loud
It's the second shaker of this kind I buy. I mostly use it for live, acoustic music in all kind of venues. I'm the guitar player and I use this shaker on one foot and a Meinl's foot tambourine on the other. The foot tambourines isn't as loud as a regular tambourine; and this shaker isn't as loud as my foot tambourine. So you have to keep in mind that it's not super-loud. BUT it has a nice, sharp sound, and it's easy to use and control, even when playing guitar and singing at the same time.

Works great, sounds great.
Works great, sounds great. A bit loud for recording with accoustic guitar though (tends to overwhelm the guitar, despite being further from the mic.

Prefect Companion to Mississippi Stomp Box
I wanted more percussion as a OMB than just the bassy thud of my box, a compliment for it. This shaker is perfect for what I wanted. I’ve been using it for six months regularly and it’s holding up fine. Given I’m stomping on the strap I think this speaks well of it’s durability. Sounds great, nice blend with electric guitars at typical buskin and small venue volumes. Recorded my full set up and it sounded clean and bright in the mix without being distracting.

Shhhh, can you hear something?
Way too quiet to use along with other instruments while on foot. Well made. Maybe needs to be a bit larger shell with heavier rattles inside.

I love these.
Nice sound though not very loud and the footstrap is adjustable. I bought one for a friend too who also loves it. Made in the USA is a big plus.

Excellent for soloists needing some percussion while playing soft folk-rock
This instrument has been almost a constant companion for my guitar playing and singing during the few weeks that I've had it. It's a great for providing soft percussion as accompaniment to one's guitar playing and singing. As an example, when singing the worship song "Your Love Never Fails", I bring the shaker in on the 2nd verse, accenting the 1st, 4th, and 7th beat on the verse and most of the bridge, the 2nd and 4th beat on the chorus, and an uneven beat toward the end of the bridge phrases where the rhythm gets weird. I plan to adapt the shaker for many more songs. Just don't expect much volume; for louder songs, I'd recommend the other foot instrument I use, the Latin Percussion LP188 Foot Tambourine.

Great in a cajon set up.....either as a time keeper which is not too loud but loud enough to keep a band in time ..... or a nice wee hihat substitute. Had it for ages and its still going strong

Buen producto.

Adds that sandy chicka chicka to your cajon beats. It fits best on a shoe but my bare foot provides enough support for it to cling fast.

Veramente un buon prodotto professionale. Ha un volume anche alto. Bisogna però abituarsi a pestare il piede con un movimento ad hoc... e non è facilissimo farlo con costanza mentre si suonano su una chitarra musiche complesse 😁🤪
