Crave Pixel 5 Case, Dual Guard Protection Series Case for Google Pixel 5 - Forest Green

Fit perfectly. Replaced a 5-year old case that had broken. I replace the old case after replacing the phone's battery. Now phone works and looks brand new.

I bought this for my 90 year old mother. I tried a couple other cases, but she was struggling with the buttons on the side. This case offers good protection for the phone and she is able to operate the buttons easily. If it had a kickstand I would rate this a 10 out of 10.

It works great but you can't put a pop socket on it because of the texture.

Hey, I like this case. The color is good (I bought red), the fit is perfect, and the cutouts are properly sized and aligned. The fingerprint reader hole is nicely shaped and contoured to make it easy to guide my finger to the right spot which, on the Pixel 5, is a bit difficult to feel without a case. The case also provides good protection for the camera bump. The lip on the screen size is very slightly raised to protect the screen when placed face down. I do agree with some reviewers who have commented that this case is not extremely "grippy." However, I find that it provides adequate grip for me, and the added grip and bulk make me a lot more confident that the phone isn't going to slip out of my hand. I like it enough that I've just ordered the 2 XL model for my old phone, which I have now retired to WiFi-only service. The one thing I don't particularly like -- and this is just a personal preference thing -- is the bright silver buttons. They stick out a bit farther than I like, and being shiny silver they sort of clash with the otherwise nice lines of the case. They do work well though, and have a good feel and connection with the buttons on the phone. This is just a personal preference with regard to looks; functionally they are very good.As an aside, I'll mention that I've always bought black cases for my black phones. A while ago a friend mentioned that he lost his phone for two days until he found it "hiding" on the back seat of his truck. After that he switched to a brightly colored case. I thought that was a good idea, especially since more than once I've "lost" my black gloves and/or hat on the black seat of my car.

I took a chance on this case because of the price, and I'm glad I did! I've been using it for months now and haven't had any issues. It fits well and looks great on the phone. I'm quite clumsy and have dropped my phone many times, even once or twice onto the pavement while getting out of the car, and my phone is still perfectly fine. The most important feature for me in a case is the little raised lip on the front that keeps the screen from getting scratched, and this case has delivered well on that. It's not the highest lip, so it's really only useful on flat surfaces, but I find that it's perfect for my uses. I worried a bit that the silver button covers on the side would tarnish or chip, but after 4+ months they still look like new. I also like the texture of the case more than I thought I would. It adds just enough texture to not be slippery, but still feels nice in your hand. One issue I had when looking at other cases was the design of the opening for the fingerprint scanner, and this case is exactly what I was looking for. It has the slight slope that leads your finger to the scanner and leaves enough room for easy access. Over all a really nice case especially for the price, and I would definitely buy again!Update: after a year, the silver buttons had started to chip a tiny bit so I decided to order the same case as a replacement. I really like how this case fits and it is protective without being bulky, and for the price I don't mind replacing it when it gets a bit worn down.

I love this case! This is the second one I bought because I like the first one so much. It is a slender case and doesn't make your phone feel bulky. The back is textured which gives a little more grip to it. I am a Mom and drop my phone a million times a day it seems and my screen has never cracked (no screen protector) and my phone has never had any damage to it. I dropped it so hard and so many times that the case ended up getting a crack on the top corner after having it for 2 years (still used it for 3 more months) and my phone never had any damage.EDIT AFTER SECOND PURCHASE: I am editing to say that my second case is not holding up like my first one did. I have already cracked the outer shell of my second case after only having it for 2 months.

Updating: I spoke with Crave support and they noted there was a misprint on the box; that indeed the case I received will fit the phone and the hole on top is for a space for the mic on top of the phone. They gave me a link to the specs of the phone which indeed shows the mic on top where the hole in the case is. I'm upping the rating to 4 stars because the quality of the case does look and feel quite good, and rapid response from support. When the phone arrives on the 30th I'll give a final review of the case and potentially upgrade to 5 star. (Editing to upgrade to a 5 star; Phone fits fine - great case!)Orig:The item received may not fit? It's listed specifically for the Pixel 5 6.0"; however - the box suggests "Dual Guard for Google Pixel 5.8" 2020 model." I gave 2 stars because the case looks quite nice - feels good in hand. However the Pixel 5 isn't due out for 18 more days (preorders arriving on Oct 30th) so I'm not sure if it's going to work. Happy to update the rating if I get the right case; The case I have again is listed as a 5.8" model (advertised as a 6") and also has a hole for a 3.5mm headphone jack (which the Pixel 4a is 5.8" and has a headphone jack) but the Pixel 5 is 6.0" and does not have a headphone jack. Someone help?!
