I use these tags for many things. Mainly for organizing all my bags. I have lots of computer and electronic stuff that I store in bags mainly case logic bags. Things like computer cables, hard drives, routers, external DVD burners, audio video cables, laptop bags (I have multiple laptops in same looking bags)... lots of things and a lot of my bags look alike. I have many dozens that sit on my book shelves. I am sort of a OCD organizing nut. Either way each bag I use to help distinguish by putting different color string but after dozens and dozens of different color strings you start to forget which is what. Especially if you have multiple identical external hard drives that you need to then plug each one in to remember what files are on which drives. These work great for that they clip onto the zipper for each bag/case. Then I started to use them to label outlets on my power strip for my computer setups as well as home theater system. I have these huge surge protectors that have 7 or 8 plugs in each of them and labeling the ends with these help me determine which one I need to unplug to move things around or replace things. Very annoying when you have your head in a TV cabinet and have to do the old unplug and check test. I've also used these to label my water shut off valves for front and back of my house etc. I'm sure there are many more uses that I have not thought of yet but the possibilities are endless. only con for my uses is that on certain plugs the cables are too thick and the skinny metal ring does get bent easily. I fixed this by using the Velcro ties that you can get here on amazon really cheap. Made for organizing cables. Cheap, affordable and reusable.

Very good product. Cost effective, easy to write on -- easy to read. The size is perfect for a keyring. It's not sticky at all, but I don't think it's waterproof.
