VERY comfortable
Excellent quality materials.The multi-model instruction booklets were a tad confusing at first. The chair is expensive enough for powered and uncovered models to have different books. One star off for this.Overall, we think the chair is great. It is not the powered model. No issues in reclining and then returning chair to upright position. Very easy, in fact, after you have done it a few times.

There are much less expensive chairs of equivalent design and quality.
The wood is beautiful and the chair is comfortable. The leather is exquisite. But they went cheap on the appearance of the backside of the chair. This is not a chair that always ends up flush with its back against the wall. It's a center piece and so the back of the chair is very visible. It is NOT the same color as the rest of the chair and is a fabric, not like the quality of the rest of the chair. This could have been done better. it's a great chair but it's over-priced and there are other manufacturers of like chairs that are just as attractive and comfortable too.

Poor customer support with inferior workmanship.
Bought two chairs. One was damaged the other's lumbar support wouldn't work. Returned both but had to pay 20% shipping and restocking fee on chair with lumbar issue. Very surprised Amazon's return policy had no effect on this inferior product! Had to deal with 3rd party for returns after denying $5777 American Express charge. These chairs look very nice when viewing on Amazon but absolutely horrendous when in our house.... more like a dentist chair!
