CHI Aloe Vera Curl Reactivating Spray, Enhances Waves, Curls, & Coils, Provides Intense Hydration, Sulfate, Paraben & Gluten Free, 6 Oz

I was not blessed in the hair department, having been dealt lank, poker straight and baby fine hair that does absolutely nothing for me. I spent years getting curly perms to give myself more volume. Then I cut it super short. Then I went to medium short with blow dryer styling. Now I have come back full circle, but opting to get only one perm per year. What you see in this photo is a picture of my hair that was permed this past April and has been cut several times since. Note how much curl I got out of this and how I have so much volume, you would never know what my "real" hair is like. How did I get it to look this good? I washed it and towel dried it. Then when it was still damp, I sprayed in a generous amount if CHI Aloe Vera Curl Reactivating Spray and massaged it through my hair. Then I blew it dry with a diffuser on the dryer, using the blunted prongs in circular motions against my scalp. When I finished, I arranged my hair well including of course in back of my head. I used my fingers and a pick; and because the perm is fading at the crown, I allowed for a slight side part. I did a little bit of back combing in the front and used hairspray at the roots. Finally, I sprayed my whole head. I am very pleased with my results. All this being said, I can see how perhaps a person with a different hair type than mine might not be as pleased with this product. For example, I read one review where an individual said it made their hair texture "wiry." [In my case, "wiry" is good! LOLOL 😀] I can also see how perhaps a person with natural curls and dry hair might prefer a more moisturizing curl activator. But for me, folliculary challenged as I am, this product has been a game changer. It's giving me volume, shine AND reviving my curls! Love it!

It is very sticky like hair spray. I was hoping for something non-sticky to revamp my second day hair but I will have to keep looking.

I am so happy I found this. I’ve tried other sprays but they don’t come close. My curls are nice and bouncy without being sticky or crunchy.

Product is great! But the cap was not on tight and half of the liquid leaked out. Bummer!

I expected better from the Chi brand. This product stinks! It didn't refresh my curls at all and just left me with wavy, crunchy, stinky hair. Will definitely be returning this product.

Nice smell and feel on the hair . Really help the curl stay without a sticky feel . No frizz.

I shouldn't have even tried it. It leaves your hair that horrible crunchy hard and doesn’t smell that nice either when I washed it out my hair felt dry and I really wouldn’t recommend it. I tipped it down the sink.
