Bont Roller Skates - Ballistic Roller Skate Wheel - Derby Indoor Speed Quad Skating - Pack of 8

After spending a few hundred dollars on trial-and-error wheels to find out what might work, I decided to give these a try. These get to stay on my skates until they wear out. They're sticky when you need grip and not when you need a little finesse. 92A seems just right for the roll-on coated local rink. They are plenty fast, butter smooth and mine arrived with excellent Bont double-shielded ABEC-5's installed as a pleasant surprise. Bont does things correctly, meaning "engineered and tested with lots of thought". I like to use bearing spacers, which are near impossible to find for quad roller skate wheels. If you do find them, they are hardly ever the right width to match the bearing seats inside your wheels (.285", .300", 9mm, 10mm, etc). Bont made sure that standard in-line and skateboard bearing spacers also work in these quad skate wheels, the internal bearing seats are an exact match. Those type of bearing spacers are available everywhere on Amazon and some even come free with new bearings - like Bones. Also, Bont made sure to make maximum use of the truck axle. The inside bearing sits flush with the inside of the wheel and the outside bearing is spaced out further than most quad skate wheels, no washers needed to achieve a wide stance. The nut tightens down flush with the end of the axle. Perfectly engineered for quad roller skates. These wheels are so good that my next set of boots might need to come from Bont. They'll need to be mounted on Arius plates though, something that I'll never part with - those are like little mini Corvette's for each foot. Completely happy with these wheels. Unexpectedly, they look fantastic on my skates - they kind of remind me of "Huggers" from back in the day. Now, I suddenly have several spare sets of Zombies, Sure Grip somethings, Vanilla Backspin Blueprints and a few off brand things I tried.

You want some bomb wheels! Get these now!! Barrins come with wheels, they are very smooth No braking in, they are ready to go! I skate every Thur, and now i can keep Up with the best. Only problem i ran into was the neck of the rod on my skates was to short so my wheels was coming off, with the right tool, quick fix. I’m so happy with these wheels

Got some flat spots super easy, work at a rink, the abec 5s are nice but already need to change them out. Maybe I just got a bad batch? Ordered about a month and a half ago

I am loving these wheels! Wheels that came on skates didn’t roll well and we’re definitely making me work hard to keep moving. These are a smooth roll, grip well and look great! I am almost 40, haven’t skates in 25 years and have joint issues. These wheels keep me moving, I do not feel like I am going to fall and I instantly felt closer to my youth skating days the moment I got on the floor with them. I am using on a poly concrete rink floor. Would definitely recommend.

I do not have any very expensive wheels for my skates. None of the other Wheels I have have the large hub like these. These were cheaper than some of my other Wheels and the roll efficiency, I don't have any other way to explain it, the roll efficiency and cornering ability is really nice on these. These. It's so much less work to roll around the rink on these and even though they are fairly hard wheel, they're soft enough to have nice grip. It took me awhile to get used to how wide they are but once I got used to that they're very confidence building and enabled me to get way better at crossovers. I did trip over my own feet a couple of times with how wide these wheels were but now that I'm used to it I highly recommend them. I feel like if you had short axle threads you might have trouble with these because they take up as much space as the LED Wheels I have which is weird. Oh also they came with bearings that are really nice bearings so you know that saves you the money on bearings which makes these a fantastic deal for the price.
