Simple family game with rules that detract from the family-friendly atmosphere
This is a very simple game, and nice to look at. Don't be fooled though, there are aspects of this game that are not family-friendly and likely to lead to unhappiness and the feeling of being cheated. One in particular makes no sense - the tie-breakers. Basically for the all important bonuses you need to have the most and second most of the coloured stones you gather while travelling around the map. But if two players toe for first (say with 6 stones each) they are both disqualified and the player with one is left to pick up the prize. That is a complete crock - clearly the games designers need to fix this or this one will never be coming out of the cupboard on a family games night.
