Great Vacuum / Great Price
I have been using this product for about 2 months now and I couldn't be happier. It does a great job of picking up leaves as well as small particles from the bottom of the pool. I vacuum our pool once or twice per week and it has remained almost spotless. As with any other product made from plastic you have to BE CAREFUL. I read reviews before purchasing and saw that many folks complained of breaking the product. It doesn't require any force to move across the pool floor and when removing the head and filter bag simply use caution. Don't twist it hard or in the wrong direction and it will be fine. Also, make sure the hose is full of water (completely full) before using. Once the vacuum is hooked up and the pump turned on you should have the normal flow of water coming from the return. The bag is small but still holds quite a bit of debris. As with anything else related to your pool you have to use this product regularly - I think some of the negative reviews also result from excessing amounts of debris at the bottom of the pool. Regular maintenance with this product and your pool should remain debris free. Here are a few tips that I have found to be very effective. a) I have the last person out of the pool do about 10 laps around to create the "whirlpool" effect before exiting the pool. This puts all of the debris in this neat little pile at the center of the pool making vacuuming easy. b) While the person is lapping the pool have them hold the hose under water and facing forward. This quickly fills the hose completely with water and ensures you get maximum pumping power. c) If I'm vacuuming with no one available to make the whirlpool I simply submerge the hose and walk around the outside of the pool to fill the hose - main message here is fill it with water!I use this vacuum with my 2500 gph intex pool pump - I also use it with the small 530 gph intex pool pump (my inlaws - I vacuum theirs each week as well) and it works great with either set up. Main thing that I cannot stress enough is to get the hose completely filled with water. Make sure you hook it to the vacuum while it's submerged. I hope this helps you make an informed decision. Happy vacuuming! A+ product - would definitely buy again!

really low quality
As others say, the head breaks off. Also, the netting is a pain, especially if you have more than a couple of loads of dirt to remove. It's a bad idea to connect it to the filter/pump as it suggests, as many pieces of dirt get past the netting. Also, the netting doesn't always stay attached, dumping junk into your filter/pump. I just used the flex piping that it came with and strapped it to a new pole (the one it came with broke as it is made of a very weak metal), and then sucked on one end to get a vacuum flow going. Much easier and very effective.

Great vacuum with just a couple minor things to consider
Our pool came with a vacuum that hooks up to the garden hose. We have well water and our water pressure isn't great so that pool vacuum just wasn't working well at all. We shopped around for a pool vacuum that would work with our 22' frame pool and found the Skooba. It seemed pretty simple but the design seemed much better so we thought it should work. This works great! There is a filter bag inside the black ball on the vacuum where debris is collected. The vacuum itself gets connected to the pool filter intake so you get much better vacuum than with the siphon style vacuums. It isn't dependent on water pressure so as long as your pool filter is adequate, you shouldn't have any issues using this vacuum. Of course, as typical with frame-set pools, our filter is pretty pathetically undersized but surprisingly, the vacuum seems to still work quite well.A couple of down sides to the Skooba: It still needs cleaned pretty frequently as the internal bag fills about halfway and you lose suction. In order to clean it, you have to shut everything down and take apart the vacuum to get to the bag. Finally, the black ball is opaque with the bag completely enclosed inside. This means you're left guessing when the filter bag is full and clogged.I still would recommend this vacuum for soft set above ground pools as it is a huge improvement over the vacuum included with the pool purchase. It works very well and collects even fine debris and sand.

Perfect In Every Way
This is a number 1 purchase. The vaccuum works tremendously better than the previous 4 styles I have tried AND very easy to clean out debris/bugs from the vaccuum before it gets to your pump filter. Perfect in every way, that I can think of...so easy to use.

efectivo
lo conecto a la depuradora bestway que compré y se "come" todas las impurezas visibles del fondo, almacenándolas en su bolsita interna. Luego saco la bolsita, la lavo y lista para volver a filtrar.

Worth the money
Works well, comes with that the adapters needed.

La potencia de succión depende de la depuradora
Si tienes una depuradora muy buena, succiona bien. Con una depuradora básica le falta fuerza
